Hi, John If I retire at 62 with 17 years of SS service and 27 of RR service, and I take my age-reduced SS at 62, would the age reduction transfer over to RR if I stop SS and start RR at 67? Essentially, I'm asking if there is a way to get something from SS from 62 to 67 without a permanent age reduction on RR

Hey John, I am currently a railroader with 6 years in and I am planning to leave the industry I am still very young and will be paying into social security when I move What does that look like when I retire? Will railroad retirement pay me like you demonstrated in this video? Also what happens to my tier 2 taxes I’ve been paying all these years? Am I able to transfer those into other investments or do I lose it?
