mine has 250K+ and previous owner couldn't tell me when the timing belt was changed, so that's good news toyota site has no record that they ever did it the one time i drove a thing w/ the backup camera in the mirror, i was so enthralled that i backed right in to a tree

Have a 2007 4Runner SR5 V6 I bought in 2019 that had 220k miles on it Have 256k miles on it now and still going pretty solid It did need some things in the first year or so of ownership, new power steering rack, radiator and brakes, but most of that's expected Feel like it has less interior rattles than a lot of newer cars which is sad Honestly I don't think it rides that badly either I decided on a V6 rather than V8 since the V6 has a timing chain, but maybe a V8 wouldn't been a tad better if I wanted to tow morebrbrI undercoating the frame and subframe areas with POR15 to help it last longer/keep surface rust off Planning to keep it until either the engine or transmission goes

I went to Ohio yesterday to pick up a one owner 2012 toyota 4 runner Could have got it for 13500 My wife didn't like it bc it was scratched, they didn't show the scrapes in the picture The previous owner def did a lot of off reading, scared me off too

I have a 05 Tundra 47 v8 Daily driven for 15 yrs now I bought it with 46k miles My best friend bought a 01 Tundra brand new in 01 He drives it Daily and now has 433k miles He didn't change his timing belt until almost 400k miles His original never broke, he's lucky He just recently had to change some of the seals His 01 has 47 v8 also and still runs very smooth and shifts very smooth Other than the timing belt he has been very adamant about changing all floods at the factory intervals He's done all maintenance himself

I love my 98 4 runner but its at 253k miles and my trusted mechanic found a decent amount oil leaks Found your clips on my road to decide on either dropping a bunch of cash to basically do a rebuild or drop a bunch of cash for a "new" used vehicle Very hard decision Would be nice to get something with better mileage like a sedan but I just dont want to give up the great storage space for trips, homedepot runs and lose the towing ability

I bought a 2018 Kia Serento online from an impound lot When I showed up to pock it up, I found out the engine was blown I know you guys are saying why didn't I bring a mechanic to see the car prior? This is all true, but my daughter just bought a clean 2018 Lexus RX350 and it is a very nice SUV that gets 24mpg combined I believe that the MDX has better performance, but 13MPG in the city??? The 2018-2022 RX350 gets 21MPG/city FWIW, our mechanic only works on Toyota/Lexus/Accura/Honda, and he bought an RX350 for his wife last year All food for thought My daughter drove an ES350 for 10 years and blew a head gasket We hope she'll get at least 10 years out of this, she only drives about 10k miles per year Same mechanic will maintain it for her, just like her ES350

I have a 2004 Tacoma with 203,000 miles on it and it runs beautifully The frame was rusting away in it a few years ago but Toyota replaced it free of charge because it was a recall item I love Toyota!

I love my first gen MDX it is a comfortable ride but it has had quite a few problems This list is quite long but many of the issues related to electrical and radiator/coolant issues along with interior materials breaking on me and of course rust issues I hope the newer ones are built better than the first few model years, they had quite a few problems

after 10 years of driving Acura MDX 2014 (purchased December 2013), I spent $950 for replacement the faulty Acceleration Throttle Body, $2100 for 2 front struts & 2 control arm, mine is currently 77500 miles! If this is true, I hope this would last until my son getting out of college ,,,he's currently 7 graders :) !!

I dailied a limited 4wd with the 2 colored arched fendered after high school until my parent sold it a couple years ago We bought it new at $25k as a kid and racked 200k miles It was a great car but the V6 was excessively slow despite it being loud and dramatic 😂 miss it tho
