I don't care what critics say Transformers 1 through 3 were great film's with a lot of work put into them, Bay wanted to end Transformers with DOTM but because of the amount of money DOTM made another two sequals were spawned, AOE was terrible and while TLK was a step up from AOE it's still a disappointment when compared to the first three film's, but I guess without those two awful sequals we would never have gotten the Bumblebee prequel/spin-off/solo film/reboot/ whatever the fuck you want to call it alright I'm not trying to get into any arguments, but anyway like I was saying the first trilogy of the live action transformers film's were awesome and really good IMO, the first movie was amazing and hasn't aged at all, the CGI and special effects still hold up to todays standards if not better, ROTF is the same in the fact that is hasn't aged one bit CGI and special effects wise and I can't help but feel that the only reason why ROTF gets looked down upon is because of the comedy in the film, while I personally find it funny I can see why others would see it as a bit to much especially in a transformers film, DOTM again hasn't aged one bit CGI and special effects wise and the film still looks fantastic to this day, at the end of the day IMO the first three live action film's are great and don't really deserve the amount of hate that they get but that's just my opinion
