Laurie Keller
Is earned income calculated when you receive the money or when you worked? If I get paid every 2 weeks do I use the gross from those 2 paychecks as my earned income or do I have to calculate when I worked and figure out how much i made when I worked?
Comment from : Laurie Keller

Brian Lee Endress
I get $2,340 in SSDI benefit Can I work and make up to $1,470 too ?brThanks Matt
Comment from : Brian Lee Endress

Me KroBar
Me and the wife are starting a business and I spoke to a tax attorney I specifically asked him how much can I make before I started losing ssdi benefits I new he was misinformed when he told me there is no limit That the ssdi is mine and working/earning has no affect on it
Comment from : Me KroBar

Steve Currier
And how does this affect those who have turned 65?
Comment from : Steve Currier

Steve Currier
That $1470, is that before or after expenses for self employed?
Comment from : Steve Currier

Arkansas EV
I get paid every two weeks and what about months that have three pay periods? I would think that I'd have to cut my hours the month those 3 checks are earned to not go over the SGA
Comment from : Arkansas EV

If you have a part time job and stay under the limits does it make SSA more likely to review your situation and take you off disability?

Darrell Anderson
So this is different than the trial work period right
Comment from : Darrell Anderson

Darrell Anderson
How about self employment
Comment from : Darrell Anderson

Darrell Anderson
I thought over 1050 triggya trial work period
Comment from : Darrell Anderson

K8T
Nope, this is wrong information In 2022 you could earn no more than $970 per month and remain out of the trial work program In 2023 the amount you can earn is $1050 and remain out of the trial work program The SS administration's math is your monthly earnings (from working) multiplied by 4666 If you keep it at or below $1050 you'll be finebrYou will end up in the Trial work program if you earn MORE than $1050 per month So, if you want to work and not end up in the TWP that's great, but follow this rule above You also MUST submit pay stubs each month to SS administration
Comment from : K8T

Anthony
