when you actually get there they will knock a lot more off i took my 21 plate peugeot 2008gt auto there 2 days ago, and to cut a long story short they knocked off £345 for a pin head size chip and a scuff that wasnt there He was clutching at straws as he even got on his knees looking at sills Needless to say i just laughed and drove off

We buy any car once offered me £57 for a car, minus their £4999 admin fee so £701 would have been in my pocket And I would have had to drive it 20 miles to take it there and find my own way back Lol 😂😂

Honest to God I have got better trade in values at a Dealer when buying a newer vehicle from them which is contradictory to their adverts The Dealer didn't care that much for the finite condition of the vehicle; they just wanted a more up to date MOT

No surprise what so ever got offer of 275 for my fiat punto 19 jtd orange limited edition with black wheels roof and bonnet only had 62 k on clock 140 bhp on an 08 plate with mot and service history sold it privately for 1250 we buy also charge a buyers fee of around 75 pounds they are total rip off merchants would never go to them no matter how desperate i needed the money selling privately is always better

Helps when you are selling from a nice house with a gravel drive, puts people’s minds at rest, sold loads of my cars the same way WBAC will only offer trade prices, no surprises you made more money privately, if you can put up with the tyre kickers it is worth it Had to laugh at industrial estate you went to, went to see a TT there a couple of years ago which turned out to have a false service history …very nearly got caught out, took 2 months to get my deposit back!!

I was offered £16500 plus vat for a van online from wbac and i took it and they found a dint which their was one and the van had sign writing with my company name so charged for that to be removed which is 100 understandable, They give me £16'060 plus vat for it and it was put into my account in 4 days and i had no messing whatsoever, Bear in mind it was a Vauxhall Vivaro lwb i bought new in april 2019 and it cost me £15495 plus vat, I've since sold them a Vauxhall Combo 20 plate which was 2 months old and 1500 miles and i lost only £400 from when i bought it new so they giving good prices

I'd have been amazed if you hadn't beaten WBAC- their prices are low to start with, they always find some reason to reduce the original offer when people take their cars in and I have heard that they also charge an admin fee of £49! Think selling privately is the way to go for the best price, a fresh MOT and getting the car looking its best are essential for a quickish sale As used car prices seem high at the moment I wonder if you would get a better price by sendig a car to auction? although there would be seller fees to do that

we buy any car almost always take money off the price they quote you on line ie dents stone chips scratches damaged wheels ectbri have taken 2 cars to thembri sold my citroen cactus to them last week gave a trade price on line £7000they knocked off £400 for a few tiny stone chipsbrplus they take off £7499 for admim and charge you £30 if you want paying the same day or its free if you want to wait 4 working days for your payment to clear in your bank so i got £6500brso dont think the online price they give is firm it never is they always knock money off for silly thingsbrthats how they make there money as most cars they sell go into british car auctions

WBAC is owned by BCA, it is a conduit to supply used cars to their auction business They look to knock off money for any minor defect at all Evans Halshaw offered to beat any quote from WBAC, I got them to quote on a 2 yo mint Évoque with 14k miles, they offered 2 k less than WBAC! My LR dealer told me that they look to clear 25k minimum on a trade in When they offer more they are taking it out of the finance APR which most people opt for anyway WBAC and the like are not interested in the bottom end of the market Interesting video all the same Sam 👍

I sold them my 06 jaguar s type r, fsh no scratches 2 keys etc, 80,000 miles, these appear on autotrader from 8 to 10k depending if private or dealer, wbac paid 95k money in bank 15 mins later Note the 95 was after their fees This was a satisfactory outcome as i only paid 72k 18 months ago Didnt have to put up with tyre kickers and time wasters

Great video Sam, I`ve seen afew videos now about WBAC and all are not good, with them never sticking to the price they quote people online, I just gave my old car to my son, after I purchased a Lexus LS430 I texted WBAC just out of curiosity as I wanted to give my other son the value of the car in cash (cant give to one without the other lol) and they pestered me for ages afterwards, like you, I never got to take the car there, but Im betting they`d have halved what they quoted me once they have the car in front of them I believe they are very shady indeed Keep up the great Vids "thumbs up"
