I would say that I always try to reduce the R sound For example floo not floor and as you said wate not water Just because my tongue is not a good enough to twisted up you might say "isn't fair enough " I am not sure which word would be appropriate that I reckon myself that British accent have been very very fit to me although I was taught English by Japanese accent You might understand that Japanese accennt on English is a sort of like flat kind of like Roman letters reading so that a lot of natives does not make sense Thank you always Cheers!
