Hero4 is my first and only such camera Never had a single problem with it, and still use it today for kayaking, biking and as a dash camera I use GoPro Studio, which can be hard to find on the internet today Thankfully, I saved the installer on an external drive, so if I ever have to reinstall it, I have it covered

I bought gopro 11 last year even though i have insta It has better quality and that is it It is not reliable to use, it overheats even if i am not under the sun Steady footage auto shut down the camera, i am not sure if it is a bug or i need to play with settings Most of the time, it stops recording so you have to redo the shots Very unreliable I think insta or osmo are a better option

great video, ,but pleasen ex ttime upload on higher resolution, because youtube further decreased the bitrate of the 1080p videos (if you dont have yt premium) and because of this, the differences are way less noticeable Have a nice day

I bought a brand new hero black 7 when those were the top model and it was a brick out of the box I later decided to get a hero 11 bones for my drones and the voltage regulator went bad and fried the board It had never been crashed and the voltage input was nowhere near the upper limit In my experience, gopro is a name you are paying for and thats about it

As a cyclist, I have only had one Hero, it is the 8 which I quickly regretted the purchase because the images are very mediocre: loss of detail in the low and high lights and the batteries do not do not work when it is a little cold and their autonomy drops drastically since they end up swelling!! I believe that the Gopro phenomenon is a demonstration of powerful misleading marketing and market domination following the discontinuation of Sony Action Cam, the rea-sons for which are very mysterious and inexplicable because Sony Action Cams were and will remain the best cameras ever designed with optical stabilization (without cropping) and unrivaled image quality at that time! What has always amazed me with these Gopros and other action cameras is that they never considered for a second that focusing (even manual and/or temporary) in super close-up would be so valuable for filming up close, for example, of flowers and insects, objects, etc Even an entry-level smartphone films with AF But Gopro knows that it is important not to change anything, to sell crap at a high price, not only does it work because we make people believe that the next model will be better and that is how they make billions $ and your example is a success, you bought several before giving up All the components of a Gopro are bad! It reminds me of iPhones perhaps before the 11 where the quality of photos and videos was so behind in comparison (at the same budget) with an Android smartphones that the only explanation was that of a sect with a monopoly and a misleading marketing We know success and even today, iPhones suffer from grotesque defects between their non-removable batteries, the absence of jack and microSD and this mediocrity has been followed by competitors for a long time because the durability and all forms of low-tech, efficient and economical is counterproductive! I still ended up finding a durable and low-tech smartphone, the 'Sam-sung Xcover 6 pro', but photo-video are very basic Thank you for sharing your long experience Long live the insta360 cameras (I must admit that it's super pleasant to watch:)

Thanks for making this video I have a Hero 7 and was less than impressed with the stabilization that I got on a ride the other day, and I've been flirting with the idea of a Hero 12 Your video got me curious about the Insta360, but if you can't replace the lens and repair it, I'll go with the GoPro Thanks for making an honest comparison

One thing to note about the Insta360 is their customer service is absolute garbage I bought the insurance, but they have dragged me around for months while I’m trying to get the lens replaced I set the camera to them finally, and never received a confirmation Utter garbage Don’t buy the insurance, and if the camera breaks, consider it dead I hope Insta360 reads this

I also have had a love /hate relationship with GoPro's from the Hero 2 to the Hero 6 and my biggest problem was the batteries running out early or getting very hot I have a bag full of different mounts I use or have used and I've found myself wanting something better, especially when it comes to audio quality After watching this review, I am probably going to switch to the 360 X3

I could not agree more GOpro is a magically little camera which I have love for but the company in my opinion are scammers and con artist overly using their customers as Guinee Pigs They are the worst and I HATE them I've been screwed over by the company year after year I did buy the 11 and I must admit it works well for me but of course it overheats and disconnects all the time from the app This was before the DJI I bough Run from you life Gopro I hope they are dead in the water This level of anger could only come from someone who's been repeatedly screwed over by the same abusive company Karma is real and it's coming back to bite them

The only GoPro I've had is the HERO Session Really small, no screen, making it much lighter to carry around! I mounted it to the sun visor of a Baseball Hat, to record anything I point my head at Great for Fishing Trips! No more having to describe the experience!
