How and where does the credit card utilization rate come into play if you are paying off the balance in full every month? I’m so on the fence because I work for a credit card company and while I know that they are in business to make money, as I sit in on meetings or hear folks talk and strategize, they really do want to help folks I make sure that I pay everything right away and just use my cc as a tool

Hey Girl , I understand what you are sharing but I am confused as to do I wait for my cycle date to pay off and does the balance matter of what I pay Meaning if I auto pay my minimum and have not utilized my credit limit does it still help my credit as if I did utilize my credit limit and paid on my balance due? Example $500 limit I have a 200 balance my minimum is $25 but I pay my balance of $175 off by my cycle date is this still AS affective as if I used up to my credit limit and did the minimum and paid off the balance by my cycle date?

You are phenomenal, may I add, every credit card, I set up on autopay for the minimum balance, just in case I am not able to pay the balance in full each month, for unexpected events, and that way I never incur a late payment! I have paid 1 monthly interest fee in a little over a decade so the 24 interest fee doesn't affect meYes it was hard to pay off the balance, which make the rewards that much sweeter which I rolled into a monthly "nut" in my savings/emergency fund CD Ladder So yes it can be done even for someone living on SS under the poverty scaleYou just have to commit to living below your financial means, and save save save
