I have applied 3 times i keep getting denied first it was because I didn't have a job so they said reaply i did they said no not enough hrs have to work 40 or more hrs only could get 30 hrs a wk so they said reapply when you have those hrs a yr later i did and they said no work to much with or without a job still get denied the help

I just got my section 8 but it’s different program in Cali it’s called sec 811 helps the ones under 55 get housing an prevent homelessness but I’m tryna get them to help me buy a house while I’m on this stuff

Section 8 and all government assistance should be made available to anyone in Need not just ppl with children I know many older ppl that have had to go back into the work force because of rising Cust I also know many single ppl that can’t afford 1700-2000k a month for rent A lot of ppl could use the assistance and do not get it because they don’t have kids!

I’m never approved and I can barley pay my bills An right now I really am struggling I just had a baby 5 months ago and my health is not get since I had baby A lot of problems with my blood pressure I have a first grader and one in kindergarten An my 21 year old daughter loves with me an works at a crap job trying to help us because she’s doing college online It’s taking me everything I have everyday to get up and move like I’m use to moving my health has really got me where I live now a lot of people will not even take and accept section 8

I applied in Arizona 3 years ago and I got approved this yearbut mine expired because no one's really taking section 8 in Arizona In they only give you 90 days to find a placein you can port after a year!!! So it maybe worth it if you can find someone to take it
