Personally, I find this video mixes many different concepts, including but not limited to assertiveness, disagreeableness and processing speed into introvert and extrovert which leads to huge oversimplification One can be extroverted and have much more complete and correct thoughts than an introvert because their ideas have been forged by conflict with others One can be extroverted and agreeable and introverted and disagreeable Additionally, one may be introverted in some settings and extroverted in others, depending on people, settings, etc Honestly, the way this is discussed both here and in general conversation in society is like star signs You're just born that way and it explains everything Comment from : DRH888 |
Having done the Myers Briggs test several times during my working life, I found that I am an introvert, and score in the 90 plus on introversion Since Covid I have been working from home rather than in a crowded, open plan office, and it has made a significant difference to my energy levels and how I feel every day Comment from : Phoebe Caulfield |
I had a lady tell me a story today, while she was talking, I pondered why it was so long, so I started honing in on the details she mentioned how a neighbor called her to tell her, and she didn't pick up the phone because she didn't recognize the number when she could have just said, "so-and-so called me about it" not even that part was necessary, but she opted to spill "more" details about details that were insignificant people are selfish 🤷♂️brbrAll while I'm standing there holding a pile of odd objects awkwardly, and stopped on my way to a truck just 10 VERY LONG feet away 😖 Comment from : OG R/H |
There's no extrovert or introvert or, ambivertbrThere is only one thing "pervert" Comment from : SoAiBAbdullah |

Deuteronomy 18:9-12 New International VersionbrOccult Practicesbr9 When you enter the land the Lord your God is giving you, do not learn to imitate the detestable ways of the nations there 10 Let no one be found among you who sacrifices their son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, 11 or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead 12 Anyone who does these things is detestable to the Lord; because of these same detestable practices the Lord your God will drive out those nations before you Comment from : Explore My Local Area |

My Myers’s Briggs test tends to come up INFJ and INFP On a short quiz I got INTP once I believe strengths and weaknesses vary over time according to a person’s situation brbrFor instance a poor person has to go with the flow and is likely to develop as a dreamer and have big ideas, whereas someone born into wealth may be bolder and better at manipulating people with their money brbrSo, a poor person is more likely to be introverted and it’s can benefit a wealthy person to appear smarter than they really are through extroverted behavior brbrI’m sure that there are other factors that influence people to develop certain personality traits Comment from : John W |

Carl Jung is a negative Based on neuroscience, charging rates depend on the script of life you chose and can be altered Comment from : Hedon Epicurea |

I'm high sensitive, intelligent introvert but I am as fast a thinker and make as many associations as the average extrovert and I speak up because I was raised in a very competitive household with a lot of debating and arguing No one would give you time to speak if you didn't but into the conversation It was do or die Comment from : JG alegria |
Except if you are a highly intelligent introvert you can think of a clever response more quickly than an extrovert of average intelligence The average intelligence extrovert however will need more attention and will find ways to dominate the interaction not really listening to what the introvert is saying and not actually understanding the point at all Thus the highly intelligent introvert has no reason to hang out with an average intelligence extrovert Bye! Comment from : JG alegria |

I worked for a well-known major corporation in the US, and in my experience, extroverts were valued far more than introverts, especially by HR One time when we were taking one of the myriad personality tests, when it came to talking about introverts, the image shown on the PowerPoint slide showed a depressed-looking woman with a big black cloud over her head I questioned the presenter about it, and she acted like she didn’t know what I was talking about She knew very well what I meant, but didn’t want to admit their preferences in hiring and talent planning Comment from : Stevie Denny |
I have studied and applied this much misunderstood principle for years and have no doubts about its validity Having an understanding about how it works certainly helps understand people’s behaviour It is however quite complex and an over simplistic interpretation is of little value That’s not a criticism of this video which gives a glimpse into the basic difference between introversion and extroversion although as it says, there is not an actual dividing line between the two You get socially skilled introverts and shy extroverts and the lively one at a party might well be an introvert ( at least until they need to recharge) It is certainly a fascinating subject Comment from : Graham Newton |
Looks like there are more introverts than extroverts, going by comments Or, may be, introverts loves to comment more just like me Comment from : Rohit Kesarwani |

nicely done video not sure how scientific this really is - the psychological stuff is an interesting way of looking at things but the stuff that tries to relate this to the brain is very superficial Comment from : Paul Johnston |
We’re all ambiverts but the more we accomplish within either introverted/extroverted activities, the stronger our ability is to use those activities to replenish energy! Friendly reminder that this was entirely made up, as is made very clear in Jungs own writing Like Freud, he considered himself a philosopher and creative writer above being a "scientist" Most psychoanalytic thought/theory is in fact entirely made up, and the writers themselves make this very clear However, most people don't read the actual books, but rely on second hand sources like youtube videosbrbrNote: Specifically, the ideas Jung made up about Introverts and Extroverts, were clearly based on what we now know as Autism, ADHD and the spectrums these and we exist on Remember, neuroscience was not invented in Jungs day, he wasn't stupid but he couldn't possibly know how a brain worked, what a neurotransmittor was or how neurology and neuroplasticity functioned, since these concepts were not discovered yet Comment from : Joakim Andersson |

Carl Jung was the catalyst of decades of nonsense business and unscientific applied methodology across multiple segments of the economy Carl Jung was an interesting person and his concepts are at best " entertaining" and at worst a poor attempt to gaslight people into thinking in relating to feelings instead of the rationale Carl Jung should be remember as such, an entertaining foray into the field of entertainment The Jung and Meyers Briggs personality test actually lead to real world consequences of people losing job opportunities, not seeking out relationships, and contributed to additional middle management nonsense which has made American work culture among the most toxic on the planet rivaling that of Japan's Jung MIGHT have done something positive for the science of sociology and psycology "which I have a BA in the former for context " but in my summation of his work, my opinion is that this topic point should be held with respect equal to that of Astrological Signs 🤡brbrThe best possible outcome writ large for his works is that people can respect and identify who is capable of being outgoing or who is more introverted Just be a decent human in response to that knowledge about other people Comment from : WhatWillYouFind |
