My most memorable coincidence was as a teen I was in The Fresh Air fund,a charity that takes inner city kids to the country to stay with a family for the summer with a kid around the same age and experience nature and stuff My friend was Robbie,Rob his dad(an ex-Marine and someone I looked up to,not having a father and his sweet, kindhearted wife Pam in Pennsylvania I'm from NYC I had a girlfriend who became my kids mother back in NY Anyway,she told me she was taking a trip with her parents to Pennsylvania and really didn't know where, meanwhile we were going on a trip to visit Gettysburg,PA where one of the biggest battles of the Civil War was fought We're in Rob's van on a nice sunny day in Gettysburg and coming out a drive thru I blurt out"Oh shit, it's her!" and jumped out the van These are church going folks that forbade "cussin' mind you Out the front window I see her parents and I'm looking at them like wow,they look familiar My ex is 4'11" so I didn't see her at first We hugged and kissed in front of everyone til she stopped because of her folks I introduced everyone and we went and saw a play Great to be young and in love Gettysburg,same street,the odds were crazy
