I do not believe in paranormal or dates having specific meanings but I have always been exceptionally lucky on friday the 13th Also, I never notice the date at keast consciously until someone makes a comment about my luck on such a day My first deployment in Afghanistan had two shots aimed at myself whike travling down route black ice (notorious for ieds and sniper fire) First shot I heard the snap and watched a hole appear in the camo net (on a stryker) It wasn't until the other air guard ducked down and i reached over to grab the 240b on that swing arm a second shot fired right where the base of my neck would be or the unprotected part of my head I chalked it up to dumb luck but later after mission someone mentioned friday the 13th A year later I wanted to prove a point about odds of gambling in a casino to a few people in my unit Using basic strategy without counting cards your odds are like 43 or so Not great I went in with $200 dollars with intentions to bet $20 a hand If i won double or nothing loss I rebet $20 Won seven hands in a row for $2,560 from the bets alone snd ankther hundred bucks or so from those stupid rules like pulling blackjack you get an extra percentage I have other lucky days but I seem to have more an friday the 13th It's nothing more than chance

Ah yes, the myth of Franz Ferdinand's car stalling It was actually far, far worse The car had to be stopped and restarted with the engine rotating the other way to go backwards So while the driver was doing all of those Bronze Era shenanigans of early cars well, Princip had quite a lot of time to do what he wanted He actually had more time than you'd think when you consider that the driver would have had to either risk a second restart to be able to see where he was going, or just continue driving backwards Two very, very bad options
