Really enjoyed your review Charlotte I so wanted to try this but think I'll skip as the reviews haven't been as glowing as I would like for £42! I'm really intrigued by the Kiko Cosmetics Sicilian Notes full coverage Hydra foundation which seems to be a similar principle to this and even comes with a brush too

It’s so sad about the shade range If Kevyn were still alive I’m sure that would not be the case The Sensual Skin Enhancer and the Ethereal foundation both have a pretty good shade range although it does seem some of the shades have been discontinued recently Such a shame for a brand and an artist who was known for inclusion

Do you not know he kevyn was??? He was the most famous makeup artist of the 90's and 2000's dude he passed away in the 2000's as well He also was the first makeup artist to know how to do makeup on black skin this isn't him this company doesn't have his philosophy

53 years old here Wearing it for the second day andmind blown It's pretty great Lasts all day, and while matte, it is bnot/b matte, not satin, not powdery Hard to describe It got more glowy on my than it did for you by the end of the day, but I live in South Florida where it is very hot and humid (also, my skincare causes every foundation to dew-up over time) It's not like anything I've ever used Looks like there is no makeup on my face and does not settle anywhere, not even in the problem areas I'm wearing #7, but already have 55 on order for a winter shade

I actually don't like it on you It looks like it emphasized your pores and texture tbh And compared on video cam before you put on makeup and after hours worn, the before I can barely see your under eye wrinkles, after it's so much more enhanced and it draws my eyes towards your under eye wrinkles when I look at you

I have been a long time lover of Kevyn Aucoin products, so I have been very interested in trying this out My only concern has been shades- as you mentioned, they are mostly warm leaning and I am a definite cool/neutral undertone I am an NW20, so I'm fair but not super fair The best undertone match is too light, and the best depth shade is too warm So I may try 45 Neutral and see if that works😊

Thanks Charlotte, I was hoping that someone would do a review of this foundation The colour you chose is perfect and looks beautifully smooth and flawless And the natural daylight photos look even betterbrI'm a real paleface NC15, so hopefully would get a good colour match I wouldn't ordinarily go for a balm type foundation; much preferring a liquid, but if anything for a mature skin works, I'm all for it And that a brush is included makes it a good deal 💖
