I know of a silver one dollar example that is in a collection that belongs to a close friend It also has the reed mentioned in this video They have had a hard time finding a way to verify if it’s real or not It was discovered hidden in a jewelry box purchased from goodwill The box had a false bottom that held all sorts of foreign coins from the turn of the century ad well as a few post cards Considering it’s origin I believe it’s worth investigating anyway!!!

I just aquired the 5 yaun coin I found one site where the members stated they had replicas which where 26 gm They very much wanted to hold on to them I think there is something to the fact that one cannot find the 5 yaun with the weigh, diameter and non magnetic features of my coin Please let me know if you find more information on thia coin
