The first thing i saw with my own eyes (or my peripheral) that wasn't the planets was the Merope nebula or what you called the seven sisters! It was very recently actually when i was looking at Jupiter and noticed a faint blur near it! That alone is what got me started on this sudden interest! Great video, thankyou for sharing Great video, thankyou for sharing I don't fully agree with the statement that you hear all the time about looking through a telescope is like looking back in time The light has still traveled just as far for just as long, you are only able to better discern the light with better magnification Yes, it is the image of what it was in the past, bet regardless of the magnification, the age of the light remains the same If it was 2 million LYs away, i will still be 2Million years old no matter if its the Hubble looking at it or a 4 year old with a refractor telescope (give or take a few seconds for Hubble distance delta) Comment from : mbrang00 |
