1:49:07br@ Great LearningbrIt is because we have two eyes on a horizontal line left and right are assosiated with horzontal directions switching of left and right is about how our eyes interpret the directions So mirror image swithces the left and right, not the top and bottom If our eyes were vertically aligned, the top and bottom would have switched in mirrorbrbrtop and bottom orientations of objects are not affected by the horizontal alignment of our eyes The relative positions of the top and bottom parts of objects remain the same in relation to our eyes and the mirror Therefore, we do not interpret the mirror's reflection as reversing the top and bottom directions Comment from : Narendra (B20ME048) |

2:43: Question – But isn't that part of statistics AS WELL? In fact, for statistics, isn't it PROBLEM -> gather DATA -> SOLUTION?brbrDetail: In my statistics class, for nearly every problem, data was presented, and at the end, we had to analyze what the data told us (that is, draw inferences), and ultimately, make suggestions of, for example, should a person go with this decision, this bet, should the market get involved in that, etc So that seems like a SOLUTION since the analysis/inference helps us make decisions Statistics helps us make mostly to make the right choices By "SOLUTION"/what I said, how data science differ from that?brbrAppreciate the lecture!! Thanks!! Comment from : Aarya Deshpande |
