In my personal testing getting head by flipping a coin 5 times is way less probable than getting hit by your girlfriend after telling her the experiment Comment from : HerogamerLP |
I'm very confused Why didn't you also account for the two missing spaces, those two also have a change of having either a tails or head Comment from : Apartus |
well done, thanks, finally someone explained!! Comment from : Oscar Pereira |

probability sux fr Comment from : ETERNITY 永遠 |

Most people say that if you flip a coin you have a 50 chance of landing of heads, and a 50 chance of landing on tails But some peoples say you have a 51:49 chance depending on the side the was upright Well both of these theory’s are wrong When flip a coin you have to account for every possible situation that could happen There are actually 3 possible outcomes of flipping a coin The first outcome is landing on heads The second out come is landing of tails The third outcome of flipping a coin is actually landing on the side, with both head and tails facing sideways Now as we know this is more rare for this to occur But how rare? And how does this change the probability of a coin landing on head vs tails Comment from : Jerry the duck |

Why in the world is 5/16 the answer in our answer key in school that says exactly that problem?! 'A fair coin is tossed five times What is the probability of getting exactly three heads?'! Comment from : Mugimoto |
Whaaaaaat did not process any of that Comment from : Mia Treadwell |

So if it were exactly 4 heads, I'm guessing it would be 4x3x2x1 Comment from : Angel |
He did 3x2x1 to have 6 possibilities to move each around, and in the last video he just said 2 possibilities and didn't show that it was 2x1 Comment from : Angel |
What if the chances of getting and outcome is not 1/2 but rather 1/10 vs 9/0 For instance at a casino your chances of winning are 1/10 What are your chances of exactly 2 wins given you play 20 times? Comment from : Niecee44 |
y should we take 3 spaces at 4:49 Comment from : reminya |
why cant we just divide 60 by 3 cuz there are 3 heads like we did in the previous video We divided by 2 for having two heads?????? Comment from : reminya |
Why wouldn't you just explain the Combination formula xCy? Comment from : Manny M |
@ojdidit34 haha oh you Comment from : Spiny Norman |
