Is there an option with about 300 GBs to unlimited that does NOT use 5G?

Hello we just got a new 2021 Dutchman Kodiak w/the Winegard 360+ and purchased the Gateway 1000(We have not hooked up the gateway 1000 b/c we cannot even get a tv signal on the indoor tv; 2channels only on the outside tv) This is VERY disappointing b/c we are moving into our rv while our home sells but I need high speed internet for my realty business which is online only (no brick & mortar blds) I have been frantically searching for what we can use for high speed internet ASAP and so far I have came across Satellite Internet (the most attractive was the Starlink); I came across the MOFI which seems really nice but not sure if I am supposed to purchase a Verizon Sim Card and go from there or if I can purchase a data sim from Straight Talk which we use for cell phones and is on the Verizon Towers) All of this is sooo confusing especially since we thought we’d be set w/our new camper and the Winegard 360+ plus the Gateway 1000 Bummed and need high speed internet ASAP so I am so glad I found y’all but I still am not certain if I should stick it out w/the Winegard 360+ and Gateway1000 or if I should buy a MOFI plus sim?!?!?! ANY advise would be GREATLY Appreciated Thanks for the video!!😊

For the sprint FMCA plan, do you need to rent a sprint hotspot device, or can you just put a sim card in an old phone and hotspot from it?

While I am considering Pep Wave, with T-Mobile SIM, for travel, I am also considering it for home use, as we are only getting 15 MGS from Century Link (UGH) With two of us working: VPN/Zoom Meetings, etcI wonder if we would burn through the plan's data allowance per month? I believe the one I am looking at is 50 GIG per month?
Comment from : Bruce Hale

Brent Little
I work remotely which one would be best for unlimited?

At @10:14, Cherie said the AT&T Business Elite plan includes " 100Gb of high-priority data on the device itself and 100Gb of high-speed mobile hotspot use off the smartphone" I have the AT&T Business Elite plan (thanks to MIRC's recommendation) My plan actually includes unlimited high-priority data on the device itself; it is not limited to 100Gb of data on the device As Cherie said, the hotspot data is limited to 100Gb Maybe AT&T recently changed the terms of service to limit the on-device usage to 100Gb
Comment from : Alan Stuart

Question: I’m interested in the 100GB with T-Mobile since I already have 3 cellphone with them, but when I go to the app, they don’t have any plan like that?! This is something to ask on the phone?

I like my Google Fi service except that also I bought the 'data-only SIM card' for use on my boat It worked fine in the US (in a Pepwave Max Transit) but is completely blocked in Mexico I knew that the 'fine print' says Google Fi is "primarily for use in the US" According to their representative (on a chat conversation), for the data-only SIM, that means it can only be used outside the US by US government employees and US military personnel That is an unusual definition of "primarily" But my Google Fi phone service is working in Mexico - I go back and forth between Mexico and the US frequently and no problems so farbrbrI would be willing to pay extra to be able to use the data-only SIM in Mexico, but that does not seem to be an option

You can not use any AT&T Hotspot with Cricket, I went to Cricket's website put in my hotspot IMEI number and was told yes you can use your Hotspot So off to the Cricket Store I went only to find out my AT&T Hotspot would not work with Cricket The Cricket SIM will not work in my hotspot so I got one of their Moxee Hotspots Their Moxee Hotspot is the worse one I have ever used my cheap 3900 cell phone picks up better I'll be glad when SkyLink is here so we can get away from all this cell phone and hotspot data ripoff crap

Cherie, I don't know how you have time to keep up with all this info Great job!! Thanks for the heads up on the TMO $50/100GB plan I was able to get 2 lines and get them set up on my Pepwave Dual modem Currently stuck with a reseller plan for unlimited AT&T and the SIM couldn't be set up on Pepwave so I installed a separate antenna and connected the hotspot as a WAN to the Pepwave brI have a small backup plan on Verizon, but still in the hunt for the unlimited planbrThanks again

Can you guys validate something? I called T-Mobile regarding the 100Gb / month plan for 50 bucks and asked if it were tied to the Inseego hotspot or could I buy the plan and SIM card and install it into, a pepwave or mofi4500 The lady on the phone, after I guess consulting with a tech, said, yes brAny help is appreciated

Glorious Life On Wheels
I just watched your HOWA presentation At almost 70 years old I have little to no technical knowledge and still don't know which system would work for me All I know is what I need Which is critical: 7 hours daily zoom for a student doing online school and 1 hour of streaming Additionally, I do a 15 hour live video chat on You Tube per week, upload three 20 minute You Tube videos per week, and use about 5 hours of internet per day often in congested and/or remote locations I have 2 smart phones and a Mac Book Pro Am willing to get a tablet and other equipment as need to insure internet access Can you tell me what plans and equipment you would suggest to make sure I can access internet at all times as needed? Thank you so much

Q Link has unlimited minutes, text and internet for 4000 a month And they also will give you unlimited talk & text and 8 GB if you bring your own device and qualify And you can keep your own number Was gonna go with the Visible plan but they have no support other than the chat on social media & they have a lot of issues if you check the chat feed Just a option for the people who are struggling at the moment Good video and info!

I want to RV full time But before I can start I need to ensure that I can work from "home" on the road So when I connect (business VPN) over my home wifi, everything is great But when I connect over my phone's hotspot, I can connect Outlook and Skype, but I can not browse any of my company's intranet, all pages time out My company has the laptop locked down, so I can't browse the internet to compare speeds, while not connected to VPN However, when I connect my personal laptop to my phone's hotspot, it browses the internet just as if I were on the home wifi When I use Speedtest, I sometimes get faster download speeds on LTE than I do on my home wifi, but super slow upload speeds So what do I do? I wonder if it's possible that the phone's hotspot doesn't support VPN and that's the cause I am also wondering if so, should I buy one of these hotspot devices But I don't want to spend a hundred bucks to test something and find out I still have the same issues Any help would be greatly appreciated Don't know if it matters, but my phone is an iPhone 8 and my wireless is 100 GB AT&T, home internet is 50 GB

Thanks for your update I haven't been able to get to the boat for a coastal check yet, but I've been very happy so far with the M2000 and T-Mobile's 100gb plan I can't seem to get an answer from T-M, so am coming to you! Can I charge the M2000 with an "cigarette lighter" type 12v charger, using the USB-C cord? I'd like to be able to recharge while enroute Thanks again
Comment from : R Boyd

8:49 “Hotspots & RouteSmarrs” 🤣 Based on your suggestions, I just joined Calyx after Nomad abruptly cancelled my service It sounds like Calyx is the only legitimate way to get truly unlimited data at the moment Do you think the major carriers will ever offer their own truly unlimited plans again in the future?
