So with a cash account are you susceptible to pdt Can you make as many trades as long as it is under your Cash amount? I just talked with etrade and I think the guy i was talking to didn't know what he was saying but was telling me a cash account after 3 day trades is under the pdt Since you have a cash account can you clear this up for me please and thank you

I put in an order for some stocks, and when the market opened the price was higher than my order So I guess it made me borrow money? I have a negative cash balance now Is that why? Will I have to pay interest or something? And how do I pay that back??

Thanks What Etrade forum is this? Mine looks quite different I was hoping to learn - I show zero in Funds Withheld from purchasing power and zero withheld from withdrawal - Why does ETrade put money into Securities: Stocks, Bonds, MFs & Options (Long) instead of into Cash available/ Sweep?

Thanks for the lesson I just opened a E•Trade account so this will be helpful I already have a TD account and haven’t had to worry about that situation since it won’t let me buy unless the funds are available Robinhood, I know they suck, has been ok for me Just can’t trade OTC’s, so if I find a listed stock, I will use them One good thing on RH, they keep up with your day trades, which is helpful when using 2 now 3 accounts Thanks for sharing and keep making singles!
