I suppose this may help some people, but overall this are terrible hacks! The amount of plastic and waste she produces on each trip!! And how come being a pilot he got his shirt stained!!?? Oh after 1000's of flying hours I just discovered the difference in pressure 🤌

Weird travel hack if you love scrunchies (I’m from the 80s growing up really in the 90s, I never go anywhere without a scrunchie now!) but they make pocket scrunchies now!! You can hold your cash, credit cards, and a few small things in them, you’d never even notice there was something in them!!
Comment from : Sam Janney

DoReMeaCulpa
I always pack a bandana or two, depending how long i will be away, because it is cheap, easy to get or replace at a dollar store, and has multiple uses:brbr-tie it around the handle of your luggage or backpack as an identifier You can even use it to tether other items to the bagbrbr-tie the ends together and you have a small bag - great for coralling a bunch of loose items brbr- use as a mini tablecloth, as a napkin, or to dry your hands if no towel available It is super easy to wash and dry later brbr-wet it with cold water and place around your neck, temples or even wrist (pulse points) to help you cool off on a hot day Or use warm or hot water if heat is what you need, say for an injury brbr-tie each corner in a knot to make a makeshift hat May not be fashionable, but would do in a pinch if a head covering is required or just to keep the sun off your head brbrI also never travel without a merino wool top, wool socks or footlets, and a thin/lightweight wool or wool blend pashmina that scrunches up small Nothing keeps me as cozy as merino wool, as it regulates body temperature, is warm even when wet, and does not get smelly ( Mind you, I don't travel to tropical locations where i might not need the wool to keep me warm)brbrAlso, re the hot curling iron, i think a wool sock or piece of wool felt is a better option, as wool will not melt or scorch In fact, wool can suppress flame

After watching yout travel videos I have packed for 2 international trips for 18-30 days in a carry-on It is a black hard-side so I bought a cute black and white duck tape and put strips the entire length on front, back, and sides Not another suitcase like it, easy to identify I checked it coming home and on my recent trip I checked it because I had an underseater and Vera Bradly bag for carry on and personal The Vera Bradley has the sleeve to slide over my rolling underseater so easy to maneuver with the 3 pieces
Comment from : Sarah Pickler

I take one roll of garbage bags, small ones 1-2 litres, handy any time; when carryon luggage I buy cheap small bottles of shower gels, shampoos, from the travel destination I also have tiny tubes of toothpastes, that last for one week
Comment from : Liz Elg

Andrea Hazard
For every trip i make a simple second luggage tag A small simple typed-up page with my name, email, and the dates of my trip and where we are staying Keep it small, usually about 1 inch by 2 inches And i "laminate" it with simple clear packing tape Punch a hole and attach it with a ziptie If your luggage goes astray somewhere, and they need to forward it, the info is on the bag (I only pack carry-on, but on a busy flight, it can still get gate checked)
Comment from : Andrea Hazard

Laurie, I bought a cool travel wallet that you recommended It does not say RFID, I don't think It says something I can't read but I don't think it says RFID I think the one you had was yellow Super cute Probably a year ago or so? brDo you remember it? It was from Amazon and it had a name embossed inside that said Wallet Popper, I think? The Popper was clear, but the first word was not brI just want to know if it is RFID or not
Comment from : Zach&Fam

Westi Brazell
Sensitive question for us older travelers: Is there an efficient way to pack panty liners or (heaven forbid) adult diapers? I am traveling to Scotland and Ireland later this summer, and because of urinary issues, may wear @ diaper on the long flight and maybe long touring days I haven’t seen any info on these issues, though I have been burnin* up YouTube looking Thanks!

Extra great way to make your luggage always identifiable beyond a piece of tape -- permanent markers and stencils! brbrI used gold and silver with various stencils to put peacock feathers on my carry-on suitcase and backpack, animal print designs on my small checked suitcase, and a giant peacock on my largest suitcase Useful, beautiful, was fun to do, AND, not gonna lie, it's cool getting compliments :)

When parking in long term parking, or short term, carry the ticket with you in your wallet Don't leave it in the car If your car gets stolen while you are gone, you left the ticket to get out of the parking garage in there for the robbers

I have to use the Assistance Service at Airports Without exception the Staff have been wonderful to me However, the Staff tell me they are not allowed to accept any gratuities It’s such a shame as I receive such excellent service, accordingly all I can do is give them sincere and genuine, positive feedback online, despite wanting to give them a personal “thank you”!

Travel hack: for those salad dressing packets or cream packets, we just slice or poke the seal open gently, and just squeeze it
Comment from : Gem

luvscifi408
Ziploc bags in all sizes are great The large size an be used as a compression bag, smaller size can be used for snacks and small items like ear buds, as extra protection for items that might leak etc I use rubber bands to keep my cords neat I use grocery bags (the kind from the produce section) for shoes They take up less room and I always have a ton of them I always stuff my shoes with socks
Comment from : luvscifi408

Instead of makeup remover, I pack the microfibre cloths like Erase Your Face or similar in a plastic bag You just need water and the cloth for all makeup remover The cloths dry quickly or you can blow dry them if it makes you feel better than packing damp cloth in plastic bag

The last time we stayed in a rental house, we were really short on storage space I bought a shoe organizer that hangs over the door Only cost about $10, and it held tons of stuff! Shoes, hair ties, toys, medicine, etc I brought it home and stuck it in the attic for our next trip!

Linda
California Linda shares thank you, thank you 👏👏, we bought the Level8 RoadRunner carry-on for a recent trip to Florida, and was it a game changer having 360° wheels instead of two roller wheels A travel hack that complements yours is to use a cookie cutter and SafetyLite strips to have a personalized design to label the sides of your checked luggage Our puppy dog shapes cover both sides of our luggage, and are reflective and distinct when coming off the bag carousel or if finding in a "sea" of luggage after a cruise if you're not doing self-disembark Ours are on their eight year of usage as frequent travelers We appreciate your videos, and your hints have made both our domestic and international travels easier An eye opener to horizontal, instead of vertical placement of items for TSA 🤔 Thank you! ✈️ ⚓️
