Make sure they can't turn the water on because I had a cat turn the water on full blast I was home so I turned it off Make sure you put LED lights in your light sockets instead of regular ones because if they knock over the lamp they could start a fire if it's the ones that get hot but the LED ones won't start fire won't start a fire

I have 2 cats & I have been leaving the TV on when we leave for years when we leave and I've tried all diffrent types of music & my cats like the 70's& if I put any other music I come home to a big mess & I do 1 other & thats seeing I have an answering machine I call & talk to them through it And it really helps

We just got our 2nd kitty 4 days ago Another Persian She's about 10 weeks old and our older one is about a year and a half The older one is still a bit nervous about the little one still growling and hissing, but she's getting better Can't wait to see them play together and have fun

A cat is genetically programmed to observe nature sounds Just like us As long as the birds are singing, there is no danger brPlease try forest sounds on Youtube It's music to the cat If more action wanted: let the cat befriend eg the cockatiel Nono, who talks for 11 hours while you are out (not loud, just hearable for your cat to seek to when missing company)

We always make sure one of us are home, except for app't days not to often thank goodnessbut we make sure to let him know we will not be longhe's very smart,since he looks at us eye to eye when talkingHe stills does silly things at 16 yearsacts funny like stare at a wall if we don't involve him in conversationHe always reminds us when its time to get his leash to go outside for a quick walk and for me to sit outside while he relax's on his furryOf course they need attention always, they are not objects

I have 10 cats at any one time, as my wife fosters rescue cats There is a toy, that we absolutely Never have in our house It's those cat toys that consist of a flexible pole with a nylon string, and weighted feathers or whatever, on the end of the string I used to jam the handle into a drawer like a fishing pole, to let the cats play with it They like these things very much, and it's an easy toy for cat owners to play with, for getting cats to chase the end of it around A few years ago my cat Olly was playing with it, by himself I was sitting in the same room fortunately, be cause I suddenly realized it had got wrapped around his neck, and the end of it spun around the nylon string He was being choked by it If I hadn't noticed, he would have basically hanged himself on the floor, like an animal snare He was ok, but I BANNED those Cat Fishing Poles in the House The same go's for any type of string left where they can get at it Fishing gear isn't my thing, but that stuff is deadly for keeping around a cat I wish they would Ban those toys Period You can visualize how you'd feel if it happened to yours -Ireland

This is more a problem for US cats that seem to be mainly kept indoors Outdoor cats still need the attention but they gain that by being outdoors It’s cruel to keep a cat always indoors

When I leave for more than two days, I hire someone to come and live at my place and take care of my cat The routine is respected and even if my cat is a scared one who hides when it's not me, he likes it better than taking him away from his routines and territory He meets the petsitter beforehand and I actually explain to my cat who will be watching him and for how long 😅 It's a cost so I don't leave very often but it's worth it 😊

Very nice video I had to leave my precious princess (11 years now) for 5 days! My neighbour took good care of her by doing the exact thing I did within 25 hours The first day my cat wasn't really happy with some stranger But day 2: "oh, okay, it seems you know the drill" My neighbour sent me messages and photos through WhatsApp those 5 exciting days All went well When I came home, I was afraid she would just ignore me, but instead she jumped her face to mine and gave me a "welcome home" greet (nose bump) ♥♥

Yeah how about you just take them with you, there's a thing called a career and there are also things called sent soakers and treats that you can either give your cat or put it their career for them to have and be okay during the journey and quietly talking to them and gentle strokes and rubs can help them too
