I don't know I tried sticking to $4 Nivea creme (+drug store sunscreen) against the peer pressure to get something "fancier" for my aging skin & the other day someone gifted me "fancier" serum/eye cream ($40-50) for an occasion- WOW what a difference Lol I'm the last person to believe in the placebo effect but my skin is so much happier I myself am shocked by such a stark difference But it really depends on the formulation of the product and the compatibility with the skin For example, my hair is only compatible with one very specific line of Pantene product And that $3 shampoo/conditioner beats any other expensive shampoo/conditioner lines out there (along with Pantene's other cheaper or more expensive product lines) Maybe Nivea is just not as compatible with my skin as I thought The key is finding the one that fits you! so collect data on the products that work for you and study basic chemistry! Save money while also improving your knowledge!
