Start working on sorting out and always storing like things together…you’ll probably find you have multiples of things, which means someone bought another one when they couldn’t find the first one! Once everything is in its place, this will stop happening For this to work, everyone must return things to their designated place when they are done using them Comment from : Michele Curlee |

sorry, but 5€ is the absolute minimum that state calculated for food in germany per day if i can get a big lunch for 10€, coffee and fruit at work and mabye just add a bit of porrdige or bread, i am really good off without meal prepping it would be a ton of work (around 180 hours per year) that would equate to a saving of a few hundred that’s a shitty rate per hour i rather have some more freetime… unless the hourly rate is over 10€/h, i better work a bit overtime and skip cooking work smarter, not harder! Last ones…brClear out the pantry and fridge fully Do not waste any food The last days are the most creative “bachelor fridge” rulesbrAnd get a “too good to go” deal from a grocery store Check them all out and find which one is the most useful to youbrIt is like “Hello Fresh” for 5 Euro’s, with no instructions (be creative) and it will feed the family for days Plus you saved food from being wasted Comment from : Liesbeth Bos |
|
Thanks for all the content brbrMy tip would be what I call “the fruitbowl” check When I decided to move to a smaller space and have less clutter, the memory muscle to buy something when you see something nice for your home, and it only costs X, I had to imagine myself going home with it and see that thing in my home Many things end up in the fruitbowl Like a cute key hanger for examplebrFor years now my fruitbowl only holds fruit, ha But imagining where something goes once you bring it home was a great way for me to not buybrbrI thought about the psychology of this It is the activity of shopping, the endorfine you get from itbrI turned to “wish” an app that sells anything, crazy things, useful thingsbrI am allowed to fill my cart there with anything and everythingbrJust don’t pay Leave it thereThis is similar to the 7 day or 30 day rule I guess, but at the time it replaced the feeling of “needing to shop” as a recreational” thingbrGradually the urge just stoppedbrI now live in a beautiful clutter free placebrbrValue experiences over things A day in the playground with the kids, hammock picnic with my friends, sit around my bonfire and having a chat with the neighbors, using free wood Those things give a longer “high” than purchasing somethingbrbrUse the free gymbrOutdoors is good for anything Walking, running, hiking, biking, skating, kayaking It boosts your mental health to be outdoors Any weather is great, always Even if it is too hot, too cold, too rainy You know it won’t last forever, you feel great though once you challenged yourselfbrAnd yes, at one point I had to buy skates, a bike, a kayak, running shoes, etc But the cost per use is wayyyyyyy lower than a gym membershipbrbrGoing out for coffees… nope! If you want to talk to me, walk with mebrbrHa, I can go on I thinkbrMany saving tips from the US do not apply to me As we do not live like this (drive everywhere, TV always on, buying coffee, breakfast, lunch outdoors) but it is still fun to see where I can save some moneybrbrAnd I feel like I am living a life of more luxury than ever before Doing only the things that I love to do and spend my money towards things that really matterbrbrAgain thanks for the vids, they are fun to watch and have great content Comment from : Liesbeth Bos |
|

I thought doing grocery delivery was good at first I had a surgery and it helped so much However, I found that what I was saving had to be turned into a tip This wouldn’t have been a big deal had I got the monthly subscription, buuuuut I accidentally purchased the yearly Now I feel obligated to use it but if corse I have to tip brbrI’m thinking I may use it less often for staples, but do pick up for weekly items Any suggestions? Very good! Thank you, Gabe @8:31, logging your spending habits is also a good way for discovering 'patterns' that we're not otherwise aware of until scrutinized in writing Repurposing is another good one I hate tossing anything I've spent money on no matter how small the amount So when I discovered this week my active yeast had expired, I googled alternative uses for it I found bakingmad's website had blogged "Top 5 Alternative Uses for Yeast" My takeaway lesson is now to always look for the silver lining in my mistakes Comment from : Inspired |

For the last 11ish years, I have shopped for groceries with cash I shop sales cycles, and I know where all clearance areas are I was amazed at how much money I saved when I first started! How many items I bought that had no value I only buy clearance items we will use AND need Not may need But need now I don't have my groceries delivered, because I can usually find a mark down item, or unadvertised sale We don't meal plan, so I shop solely on sales cycles and work a rough meal plan that way I really enjoy your channel Thank you for all the advice! Comment from : CariSD |
