Yankee what’s your thoughts on stacking 5 gram bars? I started stacking silver in 2017 and gold in 2018 I started buying 5 gram bars in 2020 I was able to acquire 2oz of gold buying 5 gram bars each month in 2021 with an extra 5 gram bar in 2 separate months My LCD will trade out my 5 gram bars for 1oz coins It takes 31103 grams of gold to equal 1 Troy oz of gold I ended 2022 with 275 oz gold in 5 gram bars I don’t see the point I Saving for most of the year just to buy 1oz coin or bar With the low premium on 5 gram bars I can acquire 2 or more gold oz coins buying 5 gram bars each month for a year

Unfortunately I can't help but feel slighted Tim at the Granite Street coin and Stamp store is a wonderful, kind man with a wealth of knowledge But since the beginning of this month I have been trying to acquire a roll of simple, cheap, common coins that Tim has in stock I have been to his shop three times, and spoke to him on the telephone four times, and each time we speak says he will have the coins ready but every time I arrive at his shop the coins are upstairs and not accessible On my last visit I attempted to buy a couple of silver eagles but my query got lost in the shuffle Every time I'm in Tim's shop the people on the phone are looking for thousands of dollars worth of silver and though I have been buying silver from Tim for 10 years or more, I'm a peon in the scheme of things I just pick up a piece here and there And when there's three people behind me looking for thousands of dollars worth of silver and gold and customers on the telephone looking for a 20 or 30 kilos I can understand why I get lost in the mix But the roll of coin that I was looking for were Christmas gifts, and now it's too late I guess it's a sign of the times, people lose sight of the little guy
