Wow bro i liked this video but im so happy that where i live theres no bad crimes happening like every 2 seconds I used to live in spartanburg but now i live in chesnee but theres shootouts and other crimes but i in spartanburg there was a shotout in a fair in spartanburg i forgot what its calledt i was at that fair when it happend but great vid!

I grew up in Hartsville , And it has its issues for sure It also has the largest industry in the state called Sonoco Products It has the HB Robinson nuclear facility, the governors school, Coker university it seems to have a thriving downtown shopping area Byerly Park just to name some positives It definitely has its fair share of crimes and poverty But I’ll considered, it seems to be a decent place to live I did enjoy your video Thank you for sharing it

I live in Myrtle beach last 14 years and actually Myrtle beach is growing incredibly and actually crime rate start to come down last years despite growing population, i am very happy to be in Myrtle beach when i saw lots of other towns are run down and way bigger crime rates

Before I met my husband who grew up in SC, I never really visited the state When he drove me through the small towns and rural areas, I couldn't help but notice the run-down, tired look of most of the smaller towns I think the problem is a general lack of pridesomehow this state never really recovered emotionally from the Civil War

Orangburg is really bad on gangs Most of the population is black Went out there once to rent a $500, 2 home duplex since my husband was working there for a bit The landowner came with a Glock and a 2 “assistants” She had already been robbed twice at gunpoint I was really surprised since the neighborhood looked really nice So close to everything! Such a shame!

I live in Conway, which is in the same county as Myrtle Yes we do have a crime problem but unless you go looking for trouble, your houses plumbing is copper and you go on extended vacation or your cars hight is high enough to easily have the catalytic converter cut off, you're good Moved here from Gastonia, NC six years ago and the only shit ive been involved in(outside the drama EVERY city deals with) is shit i went looking for

I am born and raised in South Carolina I live here currently in a very small town in Spartanburg SC So the places he mentioned are small towns that have been there for YEARSthey are historic towns that are small and run down because those were the original buildings built all those years ago Those arent bad places to live I think small towns like that are beautiful

The bad and worst thing about the Government of SC is The Scratch Off Lottery Tickets It is a complete con upon the poor The Scratch Off Tickets are put into a lot of these poor struggling towns with high unemployment They are mostly non winning tickets but the state knows people will buy them hoping for a big win Property Taxes are still high People are still paying school taxes So exactly where is all that so call education lottery money going to It is plain it is not going into these poorer towns to improve their school system SHAME ON THE STATE OF SC

Whew, I just built a house in Horry county last year I’ve lived in north Jersey all my life but have been visiting the MIL for the last 20 years in North Myrtle Beach I won’t name the town but my wife and I are looking forward to moving down full time in 2 years Thank goodness that our town didn’t make your last!!😂

I disagree strongly about Greenwood They have Lander University, and excellent hospital (Self Memorial) and a reinvigorated downtown Lake Greenwood is close by and there are a lot of business opportunities possible to replace the textile industry that deserted years ago The weather is mild and people are friendly

Abbeville just approved a new tiny home community of roughly 40 acres The developer owns ITH, Incredible Tiny Homes from Tennessee If all goes well, he is also investing in the town He builds the most incredible, affordable, small homes that just about anyone can afford I think Abbeville may be put back on the map again

I worked in Lancaster for a little while I'm not from there But from I heard, Lancaster had a lot of people employed at Springs Mill From late 1800s until early 2000s that place employed a lot of people The Springs Mill company even had a company funded park there called Springs Park Apparently used to be booming in like the 1950s
