This was a nice tutorial I learned so much even as a newbie who has already watched dozens of other videos Really appreciating the small details from the ice explanation, the half rimming and not allowing salt to fall in when pouring, when she mentioned filling the jigger all the way to the top, even explaining the way the hawthorn strainer can act as a gate These tiny details helped me to improve my margarita Love her personality as well This was great!

Im not a bar tender and never have been, but I like to make cocktails at home I like to use a good Reposado and Grand Marnier as the two spirits Instead of simple syrup, I prefer agave syrup

Half rim of salt, always brbrI have found that yours and my recipes are very similar In Canada, by law, we can only do 2oz of liquor in a drink, so mine is 1oz tequila (I like Casamigos as well), and 5oz Cointreau, and 1oz lime I use a touch of OJ (25oz-4oz) in mine, and half an ounce of Agave syrup rather than simple syrup The OJ gives a bit of colour, and the agave just gives a little more flavour

The only negative thing about this, was the Casamigos, I dont recommend that to americans who want to try Tequila, the ones we drink and use in Mexico is Jose Cuervo, 1800, Don Julio and Herradura I think Casamigos is a celebrity’s tequila from the US? Its not good really

Dude great job on this video I learned some really good tips, I love the tattooing of the limes, and the pics you set up of the finished cocktail were dope I love tequila, but it’s definitely not all the same I’ve made many margarita’s with that same standard recipe, used both blanco and repisoda tequilas I’ve enjoyed blanco that’s only $20 a liter like El Jimador and really didn’t like $30 blanco like Espolon But with reposada it seems like you’re getting what you paid for that’s for sure Casamingos is quality, George Clooney did it right when he made that line of tequila I also love Codigo which is around the same price point, easier to find for me up here in Maine And anything that Hornitos does in my opinion is quality, especially their Crystalino, damn that shits good lol Again great job to the both of you, killer video loved the tips and tricks
