So interesting! Thanks for another great video! Curious to hear your perspective on this: my husband and I share finances I'm trying to determine how much to hold in the shared emergency account If I calculate 4 - 6 months of expenses, it's over $20,000, and this feels like a lot of money to just have sitting in cash It's very unlikely that both of us would loose our jobs at the same time (although, I understand it's not impossible) I was thinking about calculating my emergency fund based on the monthly shortfall that we'd have if the higher-income earner lost their job x 6 months, plus a few thousand of buffer Does that seem reasonable?

Hey Adrian! I hope you are doing well and I love watching you videos! The only question of mine is that what are those numbers like '1(beside the rent cell) or 3 (beside your phone bill)' on the spreadsheet that you have shared? Also on what basis did you calculated the percentage of your savings? Is that compared with recent spendings or the income?brThanks

credit cards never say " pay min payment to AVOID penalties " , min payment s only to keep ur acc nd cc score in good standing, as long as u r payin min payment by due date , it doesnt affect ur cc rating to avoid INTEREST charges, full statement balance needs to be paid by due date The problem with people these days is that they dont look at the cc STATEMENTS , they look at the regular trnsx nd pay random amounts they need to understand that just like every other bill like phn bill , banks also print credit card bills ( statements) , which needs to be paid by due date if not, therez penalty just like any service provider would charge THANKS FOR READING

1 Cut Debt: pay bad debt first(high-interest first)br- pay the credit card debt in due day(never delay it or it costs 20 more!)br2 Reduce Spending: rich means less spending, not more earning(it good tho)br3 Emergency Fund(4 months salary +/-): save money for emergency usage without it you have to sell from investment and it has possibility to lose moneybr4 Invest
