I just bought a giant talon 1 M 29er a week and a half ago and it survived a t bone by a car at 10-15 mph and dragged the bike and me for half a block they paid for the damages on my bike due to the front wheel being bent into an S and it’s my only mode of transportation so I didn’t persue any insurance for physical injury because I was hit by a teenager and I think her hitting me traumatized her enough and again they paid for the maintenance and parts to make it good as new I gave them a hug thanked them for stopping and helping me and told them I suffered worse on the trail Comment from : Motakis Dumpster Fire |

bNeed some help with my first MTB I'm willing to pay up to $1400/bbrbrI'm a very athletic person who learn fast I've done lots of parkour (pro), climbing (7A+), and similar things brI like biking, but I haven't really tried mountain biking, for real - I like to drive off-road and have done lots of that One thing I'm sure of is that I am going to like this sport, so here's my question:brWhat bike do you recommend to someone like me? (I don't think that a beginners bike will hold, considering ^) Comment from : SealMeal |

how easy is it to change from rim brakes to disc brakes? Comment from : Colby Heinz |
|
phew lol! I nailed all of them without even knowing! I got a friend who is way more knowledgable to help me choose one! Settled for a BMC Team Elite TE03! Did some minor upgrades/maintenance/service and it's up and running properly! I don't have many crazy downhill trails nearby and there is a lot of climbing, so I feel awesome on it! Just took the craziest descent ever on a really rough/rocky terrain and it felt sooo good :) I'm pretty used to the bike by now and had the confidence to let it roll, and roll it did Pretty awesome bike for a semi-beginner biker for my riding, and way better than what I've ridden before so I feel much more confident Comment from : mushtikla1 |

Hello Been watching your channel for a while I have been into bicycles for practically as long as I have been walking Thou, it has been a while since I've been on a bike I got a career as a truck driver and was gone a lot Recently I have a job that I am home every day I've been wanting to get back into shape I got out my Trex 820 and cleaned it up I bought it new from a legit bike shop Also I scored a bike from a garage that someone painted all black with grey splatters of paint And I mean they painted everything But it was only $20 and it had disc brakes Just a few things that made me think it was a better bike than it looked I brought it home and took some steel wool to it It turned out to be a Diamondback Overdrive After I stripped some paint off, it doesn't even look too bad And just took it out and it rides great Thanks for the entertaining content!!! Diamondback is available in my country, but it's one of the bargain bin brands, the components are cheap trash They used to make good BMX's, but I've never seen a Diamondback MTB with those specs as standard I have a £600 Voodoo that is only slightly better (hydraulic brakes, and the exact Suntour forks you showed in the conclusion) Comment from : Jase |
|
I brought into the hype of some yt videos and brought a fat bike for 600aud Biggest pos I'd ever ridden Frame flexed a lot with hard peddling wheels didn't sit straight, cassette was so far offset that peddling up a hill folded the front sprocket Worst of all it was crazy inefficient, like, went for a ride with someone 30years older and way less fit had a heart rate of 70 while I was falling minutes behind sitting at 165 Really took the fun out of ridingbrI want to give it another go but I can't bring myself to buy budget again but can't justify dropping thousands on something I might not really get into Comment from : Eezees Emporium |

I just found this video and I want to say thanks for not bashing people who have lower bikesI got a Schwinn Al Comp a few weeks ago and I love it I am 53 and only want to go over flowy trails that are smooth but a bit hilly and flat trail and I love this bike It has a tapper headtube and is completely upgradeable no some people might look at that as a disadvantage ectand I understand that But I want to learn to work on bikes when I was a child I remeber losing my dads toolsmy mom said it was because i used them to take things apartI don't remember the taking things apart but I do remember getting in trouble for losing dad's toolsbut moms are rightanyway it is in my blood to use tools and I love itupgrading this bike will teach me how to work on bikes and enjoy itit is a tool for not only having fun on trails but to know how to help people fix their bikes Comment from : Piper Moonshine |

|
In the end he was talking about buying a super expensive bike, it got me! My diamondback 5C has a quick release lever and still find them reliable! Upgrading suspension immensely improved my confidence, and my drivetrain keeps my shifting clean I’d say start small, but if you do start with a nice bike, that’s not a bad thing! (Also don’t let what your friends and/or siblings say to you make you doubt your choices) Comment from : Da Homies |
|
I've been shopping used for weeks and have seen only ONE BIKE with a quick release idk why every cycling youtuber insists that they're super common lol Comment from : WonderBlubber |

I've been bicycling since the '80s but I'm just now getting the courage to try out mountain biking For my first bike I found a great deal on an NOS 2017 Mongoose Salvo Expert It's probably more bike than I need since I probably won't make it past the bunny trails But its a solid bike with good quality components All I could use now is a dropper postand bandaids Comment from : Mark P |
