I could use some advice: brI have a 3" candle jar that I've filled with the wax left over from other candles I put in a wick meant for 3"-5" (width) candles and brIt tunneled Like a dog left alone in the garden, it dug a whole I had it burning for 1-2 hours, and It burnt a 1" wide, 15" hole brbrI can piece together another wick, but if I could figure out how to use the first one, that would be great because I have a whole package of them I'd like to use in other pieces Would anyone happy to know how I could treat a wick to make it burn slower? You can save a candle if you already have a build up Simply place your candle/candles in a pot of water on the stove and boil them on medium heat Do not submerge the candles in the water, just enough water to cover the wax in the jar Make sure that you keep the wicks straight while boiling I myself use the lollipop sticks Boil until all the wax has melted This will give you a flat wax surface again Hope this helps I make candles myself all the time Comment from : Soldier for Jesus Christ
