I'm 47 and I have been using Proactive since it frst came out in 1997/98 so maybe 25 yrs and it WORKS GREAT And fast The 2 reasons why it doesn't work for some people is one they Don't stick with it And Secondly it may be to abrasive for them and they have to stop At the time I started I was in 9th grade and my acne was looking like pizza all over my face and had use lots of different products even prescription products that didn't work my mom saw this on tv and ordered and it clear me up in 1 week and I use Nothing but PS every since you have to stick with it if it's not hurting your face give it time

so one thing I've learned is that what works for me might not work for you so we have to have a really biased opinion about this type of stuff because what does the world for you might not do the same for me our skin is living and also genetics play part in things as well

as a teenager I never really had acne as an adult I have mad clusters of white head around my chin an black heads on the noise and bridge it's all to much an pimples here an there but I pick that's my problem I pick my acne so bad especially when I get a painful one I will take a needle an try to pop it and fuck my face up !

What I disliked in the Proactiv Ultra Gentle Cleanser is that it contains a hint of coconut oil/ extract I personally get horrible breakouts if any product that has coconut touches my facial skin and I'm aware this goes for many others too I'm using it for now anyways, will see where I stand when I finish the large tube

This is horrible, it says 2 months and only has a video tha shows 3 weeks, not even a month of treatmentbrAlso not using the product the way is intended, you have to use in conjunction because all treatment goes hand in handbrI used it and it works just fine, why? Because I used it the way it was intended

Proactiv contains oils, it’s not oil free, that’s probably why acne returns even worse

If you look on the website it says you won’t be clear till around 6 weeks That it’s still bringing all the bad stuff to the surface to get it out & you could possibly also have retinolization the first few weeks So I wouldn’t judge until after about 6 weeks!

Hey so a toner isn’t supposed to clean it’s for hydrating or treating, double cleanser is gentler and more effective :) but at the end of the day is what works for you

Guys dont even bother using this, i wasted $50 on this and all it did was dry and irritated my skin plus it made my acne worse, something i really recommends is for you to moisturize even if you have oily skin, it really improves your skin because its what it needs

I just received my first box from proactive I started using the product system N I got a chemical burn on my eyelids my skin was so raw so I gave it a few days rest i started back up and my face is breaking out so badly its makingmy face worse is that normal?? I only use the system once a day if the break outs a normal how long until it gets better

I've heard a lot of people say that "if you stop using it, your acne comes back" In my opinion, that's not the the actual products fault If you stop washing your face with the product it has grown accustomed to, it will bring your acne back Or at least that's my experience That has happened with every face wash i have used And it's going to be really bad the first few days at least because it raises the dirt and oil and it makes you break out But that's just my experience You'll break out no matter what face wash you use

Don't trust proactive with your money brEven tho you cancel your account they will take your money brI called them directly to cancel my account but they keep taking money about my back account Today they took 35$ and I dont even have an email about it like I'll call my back and tell I did not do thatbrI'll also tell them to block you guys from doing so

If y’all having problem with acne I really recommend you guys this product, it is called: Retin-A Gel (tretinoin) 0025 This product really but really helped with my acne, it really cures everything of your acne!

I’ve never really had congestion on my nose and chin but since I started using Adapalene gel I got and I thought it was the purging period 10 months later NO CHANGE!! Now I’m going back to basics cleansers moisturizer and SPF and I’m seeing improvements!

I have the same skin you have I would recommend the Aztec clay mask with apple cider vinegar I helped get rid of scars and acne and my skin has gotten a lot of improvement since I started using it like 3 weeks ago but I use the mask 4 times a week because it can dry your skin
