$150k is crazy In my country, being a software engineer only gets you $2100 us dollars per month/$217k per annum max But of course, it's guarantee to give you a luxurious life over here Still, most of us gets severely underpaid with $700 per month and it could barely be enough to scrape by as long as we don't splurge or enjoy on the money too much It all depends on the company I hope all software engineers out there could get applied to a proper company that properly pays their workers
