At the beginning of May I bought LEAPS option on VOO that expires 1/2025(furthest one available) My thought was to buy and hold basically If I hear you correctly, I don’t really need to worry about Theta until around 3 months before expiry right? The option as of today is up 17 which is really cool to see Thanks again for all your videos, I learn a lot from them!

Tradingview doesn't have IV, sadly They don't have anything related to options (like greeks, etc) Any indicator you find with IV is going to be something a user made as a custom indicator

Adam, I highly recommend you structure your youtube channel like this: Premiere Date with a mini trailer --> video airs --> bounce out to a live video further discussing the topic and take questions I think you'd get really good engagement and ppl would pay in chat to ask questions etc Plus I bet the algo would like it

It is probably undesirable to buy a LEAP with an IV of 60 or higher Also, do I understand correctly that there's a high chance IV will decline than increase? Is it true that an IV of 40 would be better (than 60) because it has a relatively lower chance of falling while you're holding the LEAP? What do you think about a high IV like 70 or even 80 if the call LEAP expires in two years and the investor believes the stock will rise? Thanks!
