I've always been a "what if that happens" guy, so being prepared with an ample amount of savings has always been an imperative for me I've known so many people who have the "I'll worry brabout that when it happens" or "That'll never happen to me" or "The Government won't let that happen" and A LOT of other ridiculously complacent and negligent attitudes towards the everbrgrowing list of "bad things" which (today) are even more possible I think too many people have never been "schooled" in the best ways to mange their finances wisely and profitably, and sobrmany people "live for today", leaving themselves vulnerable to "disasters" which could have been easily avoided with just some effective planning A little discipline goes a long way

People can have their pay auto deposited to their bank Just have your paycheck broken up and auto deposited to different accounts Send some to savings and some to household checking It just takes discipline You don't need to make Suzy Ormond richer Just live within your means Don't spend more than you make If you can't afford to pay for something with the cash you have, you can't afford it I buy everything with my credit card for the points and pay that off each month I live within my budget
