I get the gist But why buy canned veggies over fresh frozen veggies over such a small difference in price while also buying brown rice bc it’s healthier? brExcellent video to show how to eat healthy for a week for anyone who is under the impression that in order to eat healthy you have to be in a higher tax bracket It’s just that canned vegetables or canned food are just a lot less of a healthy habit and down the road will be much less beneficial over the much healthier choice of frozen (Canned foods are loaded with salt and preservatives)Especially if you are looking for nutrients as was stated ✌🏻 Comment from : K Brand |
|
This video is extremely funny as we in Croatia usually have the same prices which you just listed except 90 of everyone has a paycheck of under 16 000€/year It does make you think how we can live here Comment from : Throwaway Modeller |
|
It’s a waste of energy and money to cook 2 eggs in instant pot, you can easily boil it on a stovetop and it will be quicker and less expensive Comment from : V&J Ts |

I was looking for ideas for easy and cheap meals, and since I wanted to include more lentils and beans to substitude meats I was glad to find this video I will look through your other videos as well for some more ideas I rarely subsribe after watching recipe videos, but I did here! Comment from : EmBee |

I think soft boiled eggs with the toast broken up with salt and pepper is way more delicious than the boiled eggs and toast! The delicious yolk covering the bread is delicious! I’d try to add butter into this budget someway but I know that would take up a lot of the $10 budget but it can make such a difference when the bread is a main part of a dish Comment from : BetterYourLife |

For folks in a really tight spot, don't forget overall budget, ie, electricity/gas: look for an instant pot or electric pressure-cooker at a thrift shop or garage sale, it will save your utility bill when it comes to cooking all these long-cooking grains and beans/pulses, and you may be able to plug them in at work or a public facility Comment from : heatherthehawk |
|
Consistent with other sources and my own hard-times experience Adding kale, collards, or spinach makes me feel better, esp in the latter days I also tend to skip the bread in favor or potatoes or froz veg, but it's just preference, prices, and experience Good luck to all who need this video and budget tips <3 Comment from : heatherthehawk |

Thank you for supporting the idea that we can eat decently for not much money So many people now think that eating on the cheap means grabbing something from a fast food spot or a convenience store You have just shown everyone that for the cost of 1 fast food combo they could potentially eat for a week-and much better food!
