I love your tips An observation about your eating and planning style is that your weight and skin prove that your eating habits are spot on Plant based diets and less variety is a healthy way to reduce excess weight and improve health Americans eat too many calories and are the sickest people on the planet with the highest medical costs If your diet includes processed foods and meats that are very calorically dense (and expensive), it will be hard to maintain a healthy BMI Medical expenses go up in proportion to the number of calories eaten and how high BMI is Eating the same meal all week would certainly reduce the desire to overeat at every meal Eating two meals a day would reduce consumption even more

With inflation increasing my husband and decided too Have a large vegetable garden, make our own bread and baked good, and can and preserve leftover vegetables and berries from our harvest We also got 8 baby chicks for eggs We will be saving a ton of money I'm a Homemaker and we're on one income hust bought our first home we are debt free expect for the mortgage Living frugally and growing and raising our own food Will help us prepare for children

I use the FLIPP app (free) on my iPhone It covers all of your local stores and shows you their ads for the week, month, seasonal Using the search function allows you to compare sale prices for fresh, canned and frozen foods for all local stores Easy and convenient I can spot check an unadvertised sale against other stores fast and easy on this app

I go to food giveaways to save tons of money USDA as well They are all over and church giveaways I look on the Market place for free I save all my produce seeds I cut off the ends of many produce items and stick the bottoms in a small cup (whatever)of water and they will grow again,however with carrot topsthey will grow again the green leafy parts which will eventually bring you new carrot seeds,even tho you won't get the actual orange carrot again,but you can grow the tops for seeds and the green leaves of carrots can be eaten in many dishes Try growing instead of throwing your celery bottoms as well as the green onion rooted partsThey will grow into more food again Also sprouts are easy to grow Hope its helpful
