Anytune is excellent for me as far as slowing down music, changing keys, looping etc!!
Comment from : HvacGuitartist

Juan FM
Someone should make an accountability app Something to track practice times, subjects, goals, and tell you "hey dude, you didn't practice today, what's up with that?" Modacity is ok, but could use a a little more tweaking
Comment from : Juan FM

Comment from : Jimmy James

Dallas Stiles
Coming from a keys and drums background a lot of this is new to me and this is very helpful Keyboards often already have features along the lines of what these apps have I guess, constantly listening to playback of my practice has been invaluable so I can see how important it would be for guitar I like Gap Click for drumming but I think it would be useful for anyone

Comment from : MisterE428

TepidJean
I'm sure you are aware of Youtube players that allow slowing and looping ? Your channel is by far the best guitar channel for my brain here on the googletube BTW The Dickey Betts video has opened a ton of doors for me! and finally at 45 I can see the triads on the GBE strings should have done that 20 years ago but nobody told me LOL and the 6's are all right there too you have blown my mind
Comment from : TepidJean

Joseph Mitchell

Cellar Dweller Productions
I’ve been using SessionBand for a couple months nowbr Both their Blues and Jazz appsbrWhile their Blues app is kinda’ limited after a bit, just a simple 12-bar, you can’t beat it with a stickbr Mock me if you like, but the Jazz app’s are great for blues progressions too You get to use the diminished chords from that, into your progressions and before you know it, you got some great uptown 3:00am blues to play onbr I haven’t regretted the money spentbrAll for the price of a cocktail, you can’t go wrong
Comment from : Cellar Dweller Productions

markmcelroy2
i will sign up for $10 a month or $69 a year but when click on the link it is $12 a month or $89 a year Brian emailed me back No can do, Mark i replied, when a business posts a price, it is honored! what a shame
Comment from : markmcelroy2

EmanuelBassist
Thank you Brian, I’ve been practicing so much on account of the shutdown(s) every new wrinkle and scrap of info is appreciated I just purchased the ASD app and I was under the impression the Slowdowner integrated with YouTube I have YT premium and have been jamming along, studying lesson content and learning solos from non-stringed instruments and such (I’m a bassist) I haven’t seen a thing on the app referencing YouTube save a folder from which to load YT material that has been downloaded Not exactly integration, am I missing something? Was I mistaken about this functionality?brThank you in advance & BeSafe, E
Comment from : EmanuelBassist

Guitar After 40
HUGE fan of ASD! +1 Tempo and Guitar Toolkit Chord is another good one I would also add Fretuoso for learning the fretboard and Ultimate Guitar for tabs and charts One major one that you missed - your phone’s ability to take video Listening to yourself is great but video also helps you to catch flaws in technique!
Comment from : Guitar After 40

Taylor Mason
ASD and is crap compared to iphone app anytune pro Trust me Slow down change the key of the song or pitch Adjust eq to better hear the instrument your trying to transcribe
Comment from : Taylor Mason

David McGinty
Brian and guitar people: I am NOT getting political here Try using the Amazing Slow Downer for better understanding of Ben Shapiro videos BTW, check out Quick Drummer It's free with ads
Comment from : David McGinty

Barry Stephens
Great channel Brian! Oolimo is also good for finding and analysing chords Transcribe! is also excellent for slowing down, looping and changing the key of songs - it can be controlled with a foot pedal which is pretty handy, or footy as the case may be The pedal buttons are fully customisable with the software so i have one button set to stop and go back to the beginning of the looped section, another to start playing and a third to increase speed by 10
Comment from : Barry Stephens

Raymond Gregory

Comment from : linuxmick

Neil
Good apps here but I gotta say that transposing a tune should be in your head It's not a lot of work and once you know your barre chord positions relative to others it's not that much more till you can do it on the fly
Comment from : Neil
