Ohhhh PLEASE don't show your baby flash cards, our baby is a baby, the main focus for your baby right now should be the following…brSinging/talking to herbrCaring for her needsbrReading to herbrEngaging with her during tummy timebrHugging herbrRocking/holding herbrTaking her for walksbrLaughing with herbrSaving money for collegebrAllowing her time to just sit/lay and move her body as she needs tobrProving her with a warm and safe environmentbrTalking to her about what you are doing to herbrAllow her to use her senses to explore her environment: specifically when she wants to put things in her mouthbrFinally, building a relationship with her that is based on trust, respect, kindness, compassion, fun, intentionality, purpose, faith, transparency, love, and acceptance!brbrShe will have many MANY years once she is old enough when she won’t have the option to play and learn about WHAT IS INTERESTING TO HER!
