Wealthfront is another good one They are technically a brokerage, but their cash account operates like a checking/savings account 405 APY currently (455 for 3 months with referral) They are consistently one of the highest rates Great app with smooth user interface

I've been a Capital One customer since it was ING Unfortunately, it was an account I did not check consistently because it was $ to care for my parents when they need it and it was premarital assets so I didn't contribute to it but was under the impression it was still earning a good yield WRONG I guess back in 2019 they created a new account called Performance Savings, which did earn their 34 APY buuuuut their long-standing customers that did not make the switch were now earning 03 APY! I didn't think I had to babysit the APY (lesson learned) and bumped into your video because I'm looking to switch just could not keep going with them after such shady behavior not one email nor letter advising of this change

Thanks for sharing all the info You miss a few points on Redneck bank First, if you don’t want to look at that fly (which I didn’t) you can sign up through there parent company “All America Bank” Same deals, just a much more boring website I’m ok with boring when it comes to my banking They are based in Oklahoma, so when you call customer service, you get someone in Oklahoma I don’t know if that matters but some people like to speak to someone in the US You only get the 45 interest on up to $15,000 on their checking account but they also have a “Mega Money Market” account, that has a 425 rate on up to 75,000 Not bad

I have an account with CIT I like that they have an app Not all of these banks do It does take a long time for things to post to the account But it has a great rate The app is not robust but I can see and do what I need to
