Reading English books without listening audio is not good option I've got friend who reads a lot and lived in the UK for 25 years but his language skills are low, especially speaking and understanding from hearing

I have decent modern Greek vocabulary I just can’t read with automatically translating it to the English words Like whenever is see Μπορώ(I can) I don’t even say it I just read “I can” It’s so hard to transfer and actually start using it instead did translating everything

I'm not sure I follow Am I correct in thinking that, if I know exactly 0 of the target language, that by simply reading/listening to the same passages over and over again, I'll eventually figure out the meaning of the passage? Surely if there's no comprehension, it'll just remain gibberish, right? What am I missing here? Are you getting the words translated? I'm really intrigued by this method, but i feel like I'm missing a key component of it

First short story I read from 1 your book I'm lucky if I understood 25 but for some bizarre reasons I understood the summary at the end of it (still in Norwegian) far better (would say 50-75) wich make it far more easier to connect the dots and understand more of the actual storybrLove your method, use a crude version of it to learn english when I was young (throught comic books) so I was pretty confident it would worked for Norwegian too
