2:50 happened to me I was in disneyland paris and it was raining a lot My mom screamed get ponchos or I’ll leave 13€ (sorry idk dollar currency💀) for one so 26€ in total After 10 min the rain stopped And we bought it for 5 min use My mom Regretted it although I was already worrying when buying the ponchos that it’s a waste

I thing the babbitt Bobbitt boutique and the Cinderella castle restaurant are the worst I try to only get the prepackaged ones at the orlando airport I like to eat it on the plane I will say though the balloons are a good suggestion fir wheel chairs Makes people less likely to kick you (they do)

Pre-covid, we went to WDW every year It wasn't cheap, but the service and quality of the experience was worth what you paid Today, it's more expensive, many services no longer exist (eg Magical Express) or you have to pay extra (eg Fast Pass), and some perks only go to those staying at the highest end resorts It's no longer a family friendly place, just a money pit

If you're going to keep rechecking flight prices be sure to do it in an incognito browser Otherwise they know you want that flight and the prices will only go up

I don't think I have ever booked a flight way in advance Usually booking about three months out is best for price, unless you are booking with a carrier like Southwest, in which case you probably do want to do it early However, when we went to Disneyland, I kept an eye on the prices and wound up scoring a steal of a deal going to John Wayne about four months out We usually get the best deals for what we want with American, booking through a site like Orbitz They may not have the cheapest upfront cost, but when travelling with kids I don't want to use Spirit, because they won't guarantee that the kids will be seated with you unless you pay extra for seat choice So by the time you have been nickled and dimed, have you saved anything? I would rather book with a company that actually cares about families having a good experience and will put kids and parents together

My biggest issue with park hoppers is you have to buy them for every day of your stay I'd do it for one day, but generally we just like to do one park per day And it most definitely isn't worth the cost to spend a bundle for a family of four for four or more days Just go to one park each day and be done with it

I think the meal plan it’s a waist of money we went Disney world 4 times when my kids where little , we only got the meal plan twice , because just because you paid already for the meal that force you to eat you meal plan snacks, we did t use the whole meal and I The end of our trip because we have to use it we got a lots of candy and snacks to bring home Last two times we went we didn’t buy the meal plan and we feel more free , eat when we want without the pressure , and the Disney hotel resort have also great food court and not expensive as the parks

I used to love those lollipops, but I knew what to do Instead of leaving them intact, I used to break them up into lots of smaller chunks, and eat just a chunk or two at a time Wrap up the rest, leave them somewhere cool in your room, and you can make that pop last the whole trip and take some home, too

My kids got a personal budget for gift shop stuff and all the other stuff like that The deal was that if they didn't spend it they could have the balance later, for other things at home Worked a treat, they stopped nagging me for brightly coloured trash and spent the cash onerr, other trash at home, but stuff they liked better and not impulse buys Oh, and we always carried pac-a-macs, they were useful for many, many holidays and days out plus being far more waterproof and comfortable than ponchos

Was a passholder from 2003 to 2020 Planning a trip was super easy, the Halloween and Christmas after hours events were like 35 bucks, and the eventual fastpass bookings through the app was a great feature It was nice to be able to have 3 fastpasses ready to go before you even left the house And while you were in line you could search out the next fastpass Rarely did we have to wait in the standby line, and that included Avatar Now it's a PIA to map out a trip between reservations, virtual queues, and of course the stratospheric prices

I have done many Universal and Disney trips and travel with a handicap individual Finding information about accessible hotel rooms and rides has been very difficult Universal has Disney hands down as far as accessibility issues go Would you consider making a video on top hotels to stay in that are wheel chair accessible What the rides look like for transfers on and off This was quite the adventure without having this information in advance Hagrid’s ride has a wonderful accessible side care that we were able to use to transfer

We had an amazing time when we went March 2022 It was the perfect combination of planning and luck and my 8 and 6 year old kids had a blast Honestly, this channel and the DFB guide were big contributors to our successful planning So many snacks to trywhich ultimately led to our strategy of snacking throughout the day and 1 big sitdown (the kids had snacks and short breaks all day which helped them survive the days with smiles on their faces) Thanks for all your content and research!

One thing that really annoys me about Disney is the price they charge for drinks I don't mind spending money but $550 for a bottle of Coke, Fanta, Minute Maid etc is just madness! Wholesale, less than a dollar to Joe Public 5 people, 80+ degree heat, there's a Benjamin per day They could charge half that and still make a killing! Never mind, it's all about Bob Igers 'Poor' Shareholders!

A total waste of money is genie plu$, if you have a family of four it's $100 a day, genie plu$ makes lines longer, because you are cutting in front If no one brought into this money grabbing idea lines would be shorted because everyone is moving at the same rate not stoping for genie plu$ Also disney wants you to buy in advance genis plu$ at $25 because it could go up, well the only reason it will go up if disney puts the price up, no other reason, imagine you get a four day pass, pay $400, and it is a low crowd day you just lost $100 for the day , also you can only use it every 2 hours, now work out how any hours the park is open divide it by 2 and that's how many rides you may get if it works out

We stayed in Saratoga because we got the better dining plan and the theming didn't matter because we went as a couple Next time going with children we are staying in AOA or POP as it central to most has good theming and we can pay for a preferred rooms and dining plan for less than the deluxe room would cost us Still it is going to cost a fair amount of money without the spending
