Hi brother - thanks for the video - I completed project one and two - I have trouble with "switches and how to use them"? I get a "tone" but not a "buzz"? for the DPDT switch I'm supposed to get a "buzz" but I get a tone and I have not turned the switch on? The 3rd one, pressing the S1 switch, I completely successfully, and unsuccessful with the 4th, where it should "buzz" with the DPDT, the main power switch, and the pushbutton are off? thanks again for the video I have been following the instructions but now I will look carefully and try to learn from the schematics Comment from : Ben Jimenez |

Blurry image and nervous movement give me a headache and makes this video almost useless Comment from : φ |

Getting little plastic trays like that are such a good idea lol I should get some Comment from : DECIMA1 |

Would this Electronics Lab "toy" be a good start for an adult wanting to just learn about electronics? I want to start tinkering with arduino Comment from : Hot Sauce |

I bought this for my kid from ebay, turned the power switch on but there is no telling whether this thing is on or not I was hoping to get some real beginner reviews Like how do you know this thing is working ? Comment from : Lenny Cooke |

There are several factors in learning circuits One place I found that succeeds in merging these is the Gregs Electro Blog (check it out on google) definately the most useful course that I've seen Check out this interesting resource Comment from : Misa M |

@JJGhostHunters: I bang around some on the guitar in my spare time By your logic, I should go to Juilliard Comment from : Richard Gray |

Please back out of the book-it can't be read by us, but we are sea sick Comment from : Robin Sauls |

You could explain the first circuit? That would be useful Comment from : Brandon Wilson |

I just did the first project I was looking all over for the 555 thinking it was a large chip, almost went back to the store claiming it was not in the box Thanks for the tips Comment from : Prince Valiant |

ok to answer what seems to me would be very obvious Tinkering with electronic components is part of a learning process for beginners The real objective is for a beginner to understand how to read simple schematics build simple circuits, Understand basic components as a starting point To hear an engineer question this process just blows my mind The beginning works of any subject either in labs or in workshop can be said to be tinkering I guess our engineer forgot what it was like when first started experimenting in his field lol Comment from : John Strauss |

Nice setup! Comment from : Robert Russell |

This lab is to learn the basics of electronics I got it to see if I liked electronics enough to take it in college I guess it worked cause I am in school for EE right now as wellThere is an analog and digital course with this kit If I had only done the digital portion of the kit before I took it in school, it would have taught me almost everything my actual classes showed me Comment from : Scolecite |

I am curious tooI am an electrical engineer, but I do not understand why so many people spend hours upon hours after their day jobs "tinkering" with no real objective Why not go to engineering school???? Comment from : JJGhostHunters |

Proud to be an Engineer Comment from : Smooooth |

what is the learning meant for I am just curious Comment from : Marques Moore |

There is no "on" light, so an easy way is to just build the first project Comment from : Scolecite |

thanks man Comment from : Alex van der Meer |
