Philharmonics are just gorgeous and least expensive, they get my nod The only con on Britannia’s is the scratching on the Queens cheek My favorite is the Eagle I wish they had fractional buffaloes, only the half which is too expensive! Great vid! Comment from : Goldeeelock |
I don’t play with coins just bars cuzy 😂 Comment from : sebskee |
Do u pay tax on your gains under 5 k in Australia? Comment from : sebskee |
Do you continue to purchase 1/4 oz coins? I appreciate that it is a great option for people who want to make regular, frequent purchases, but I just have not gone that route I exclusively have one ounce coins Even when spot prices take a dip, I choose to wait until I have the funds to make a one ounce purchase I don't have anything against fractional gold, it's just a better value for the full ounce so I choose to wait Comment from : rodguitarman |
I really want to get into buying gold but it’s expensive and I feel like I’m spending money even though it’s an investment Comment from : Nick Riddle |
I just buy Britannias due to quality, cost, and 24k Comment from : Tony G |
Get quarters those are worth to much that should be obvious a few real gold wouldn't hurt like 1 or 2 Comment from : William Hill |
At least one state requires taxes paid up front for all bullion and junk coins struck by the various country's mints (but not bars) Close to $150 paid in taxes up front per 1 ounce coin right now Comment from : waitaminute72 |
The premiums you discuss seem to be way off for my LCS’s here in California Can you do a video on other buying options? How do you find brokers, big and reputable coin shows, private sales…etc? Comment from : Kian |
Being from 🇨🇦 🍁 I buy mostly 🍁 but I do own foreign coins also 😊 Comment from : Daniel Caissie |
Cant wait till Elon Musk starts mining Golden asteroids 😂 Comment from : dabz N slugg |
Isn’t the Krugerrand one of the most recognized gold coins ? Can you go wrong ? Or are there better options? I am talking keeping it ,…long time Comment from : Frei Sein |
Reruns are weirdly popping up on very good channels This one, Doug Casey, Maneco64, 😮 Comment from : revpgesqredux |
Good info for folks who buy from shops and/or online dealers brMe:brBuy peer to peer, sell peer to peer No BS paperwork to worry about 👍🏼 Comment from : SoCal Silver |
purchases of American gold eagles triggers 5 sales tax brat this moment (spot 195980 USD) means I pay 204060USD plus 10230 USD in taxbrbrA 24k Maple right now goes for 201450 USD (no tax) That means I pay 12840 USD more to have an AGE?brAfter conversion that means I am paying $171 for a 24k coin plus a slight bit of silver and slight bit of copper? brLOL not a chance! brI'd rather grab a gold Maple and 4 silver maples for the same price as 1 AGE any day, all day bud Comment from : Billy Bob Mirango |
Gold will break 2,000 in the next 4 days imho Comment from : Yedidyah - Jed Shlomoh |

Greatly appreciated We need more of this everywhere, On the other hand there are many ways of manipulating the market I am glad as a small investor that I am putting my hard earned savings into the most that being said the only transparent market there is day trading I've made over 11BTC using Mr K method, his trading skills is exceptional Comment from : Adriana Destino |
If i decide to trade gold back to a store, what price do i get? whatever value gold is at or the spot price they are selling at? Comment from : Seamus Doherty |
Do they make platinum kurand Comment from : wayne pugh |
Lol - no Own lots of gold - not a single Buffalo or Eagle Have had no problems selling, exchanging, or trading Perhaps you should find different coin dealers to work with Comment from : Fred Smith |
I’ve actually got some from all 7 Mostly the US coins, followed by maples One thing I’ve learned in the short 2 years I’ve been stacking is coin recognition is important when it comes to selling At least that is what I’ve heard I’ve never sold So while I might pick up an odd ball silver coin for fun, not with gold Comment from : Greg Johnson |
Another advantage for Eagles in Utah is they are considered legal tender and sales are not subject to State sales, income or capital gain taxes Other states may have similar statutes Thanks for your great channel Comment from : Susan Roecker |
Why pay for overpriced 22k eagles , sunshine mint gold rounds are made by the exact same supplier of blanks Dont buy If its not 24k 9999 maples Keep your off yellow 22k junk Junk silvers a trap too Good video😊 Comment from : Price Matcher |
Sovereigns>1/4 oz Britannias Comment from : Privileged Shitlord |
I’ve been stacking for a year now I only have Britannia’s It’s a great looking coin, purchase price has lowest premium and all my LCS buy at spot regardless of coin including AGE’s Comment from : Kian |
I appreciate your time to do all the math on this The Britannia is a beautiful coin for sure and a good option I WISH they make fractional buffaloes! Comment from : Homestead Aquarius |

Thanks for the video Nice Victorinox (or whatever it is) 👍 Comment from : boilermatt |
Good video considering I've got some buffaloes and a maple but mostly have been leaning heavy on their britannia's and the kangaroos for the past couple years thank you 2is1 for being the clearest voice out there✌ Comment from : wasilla stacker |
I suppose the good reason for other coins is simply because you wont sell them unless you really have to due to circumstances, Gold is still Gold As for me, once i have collected a few nice world coins it will simply be Kangaroos, Britannia, Maples and some Perthmint Lunars and Chinese myths and legends Comment from : Colossus |
Can't go wrong with that list at all! While I do have most of those and others, I do continue (for the most part) to stick with American gold! Comment from : 72cmcinc |
👍 Comment from : Robert Keating |

You have to talk about roosters when you talk about fractional Dealers all over the country buy at a great buy sell spread for fractional Comment from : Business Account |
Solid stuff bro! Comment from : Silver Britches |
Why not buy fractional US commemoratives? USA gold and the premiums are very low! Comment from : West Stephan |
I was just wondering why you don't really talk about gold bars for stacking? The premiums are are always super low I have noticed that the 5 gram - 20 gram range stays pretty similar in premium Seems like a goof way to dollar cost average I bought random 5 gram bars during last dip and can sell for break even after only a few months Comment from : TheGreatBildo |
Been seeing cheap gold Buffalos and Eagles in slabs at well known YouTube shops and bought one at my local shop for $110 over spot But on ebay $300-$500 over Am i missing something? Comment from : dandelioncorsage |

Fairly new stacker here, been watching your videos for a little bit now and appreciate the practical approach you take Probably an off the wall question, but how would you view stacking some of all the coins you mentioned here and “diversifying” your stack as you would with other investments? I don’t consider the metal itself an investment, but I do invest my time and money into studying the market and stacking for the insurance and savings purposes you talk about a lot on this channel so just would like to hear your thoughts Thank you again for the content Comment from : Tyler Ticknor |
What do you think about $10 1/2 ounce 9999 coins like the first spouse series When I find them close to spot, I always grab them Comment from : BYOBank |
