In my opinion, most weapons need a silencer, especially in wars, a silencer helps a lot, although we do not have access to good weapons in Iran due to a terrorist regime, and we only have access to low-quality weapons from Pakistan and China, which clearly state that they are made in America or Italy, but at a glance, it is clear that these weapons are really copies and of poor quality We had a good government and we could use the facilities of this world, but we in Iran have to pay for an original Beretta gun and get a low-quality Chinese, Indian or Pakistani gun, which is characterized by the quality of its manufacture Comment from : hamid lashkarzehi |

Are in-house made suppressor just as good as the ones made by companies that makes suppressor? I went and bought my very first suppressor on this FFL dealer that also had license to make and sell suppressor, he had me convinced to buy their in-house made which was $210 less over a branded one, and told me it didn’t justify the extra $210 for a branded one since the noise difference weren’t much different Which I find it odd because a business establishment usually makes sure that they have good profit It was for a 22lr can btw Comment from : salvinsam |

I don't own a suppressor, due to the cost from the gov't for buying one They have made ownership of a suppressor onerous I would compare it to making the ownership of a GLOCK Entrenching tool restricted to those who pass a background check because of the name "Glock" attached to the tool Comment from : Reborn |

My buddy and I got our suppressors at the same time, I went with an OSS 556-K and he went with the SilencerCo Hybrid-45 because he said it's "more versatile" but what he didn't expect is that it sounds like crap on all his rifles (he only owns 556 AR-15's)brbrLong story short, don't fall into buyers remorse, "specialize, don't generalize" Comment from : The Melting Point |

thats the one problem with suppressors is that it is such cost-prohibitive item and not only that Its locked up behind a paywall and redtapebrbrwhy am I gonna sink a grand in a "good" can and realize there is alot more to it when I slap it on my firearm and shoot it, or worse; baffle-strike Which means it is going back to the manufacturer Comment from : Vice Richter |

I've read through comments, nothing about 3006 rifle Obviously 30 caliber can is solution butbr1 Let me see a "live" fire demo? Does one exist?br2 Does a suppressor really decrease noise I've heard that NO, suppressor doesn't do alot of noise reduction, so cost doesn't out weigh investmentbr3 What is required to modify rifle to adapt to supressor of choice?br4 How do you modify rifle barrel to not impact it's performance and still work for supressor?br5 Watching TV, does a simple 2 liter bottle of mountain dew, internally packed with towel or other filaments (foam, paper, etc) serve as sufficient substitute once and repeatedly?brbrsorry for the seemingly nube comments, but that is what I am Comment from : Christopher Long |

I am interested in suppressors for my collection and stainless steel seems best for my needs I was wondering if anyone is using Inconel as it's thermal characteristics are superior at a thinner/lighter construction and can handle large volume/rapid fire situationsnot that it's a big concern for 99 of use Are you aware of anyone using Inconel or is it something I'll need to fabricate? Comment from : Steven Mitchell |
|
dB ratings are not the end all Is the dB rating "A" rated or "C" rated? I am an audio engineer, volume and loudness are two completely different things Low end frequencies are longer and travel further High frequencies are shorter and dissipate faster at distance Do not take the dB reduction at face value Your game will hear lowend frequencies at much greater distance Comment from : Jim Walker |
