Are in-house made suppressor just as good as the ones made by companies that makes suppressor? I went and bought my very first suppressor on this FFL dealer that also had license to make and sell suppressor, he had me convinced to buy their in-house made which was $210 less over a branded one, and told me it didn’t justify the extra $210 for a branded one since the noise difference weren’t much different Which I find it odd because a business establishment usually makes sure that they have good profit It was for a 22lr can btw

My buddy and I got our suppressors at the same time, I went with an OSS 556-K and he went with the SilencerCo Hybrid-45 because he said it's "more versatile" but what he didn't expect is that it sounds like crap on all his rifles (he only owns 556 AR-15's)brbrLong story short, don't fall into buyers remorse, "specialize, don't generalize"

thats the one problem with suppressors is that it is such cost-prohibitive item and not only that Its locked up behind a paywall and redtapebrbrwhy am I gonna sink a grand in a "good" can and realize there is alot more to it when I slap it on my firearm and shoot it, or worse; baffle-strike Which means it is going back to the manufacturer

dB ratings are not the end all Is the dB rating "A" rated or "C" rated? I am an audio engineer, volume and loudness are two completely different things Low end frequencies are longer and travel further High frequencies are shorter and dissipate faster at distance Do not take the dB reduction at face value Your game will hear lowend frequencies at much greater distance
