Hello enjoyed your video I have 2 money trees But they seems like the stems are getting off And some of them are dying What I'm I doing wrong
Comment from : Pasion Gonzalez

CrazyFishLady
Great information but I didn't see exactly how and where to do the pruning Is there a specific place to snip the stems? Or just cut to your desired shape?
Comment from : CrazyFishLady

Rusty shackleford
Ice cubes will shock your plants !! It'll kill roots! Plant say that to make money off you buying new plants ! lol 😂 poor folks

Comment from : Papa

mike vasquez
dumb question here but if i have a ceramic pot thats painted black would that still be ok and allow the soil to "breathe" properly???
Comment from : mike vasquez

Michelle Burris
You can take your plant out of the terracotta pot (those pots wick water away from the plant) I'm sure you will find that it doesn't dry out as fast so you won't have to water too frequently
Comment from : Michelle Burris

Ji-Ah
Is a plastic pot also good?
Comment from : Ji-Ah

eugie
Mine is directly under the hot Caribbean sun, no mercy at all It's beautiful but I do water it daily Growing really fast!

I have a money tree I bought at IKEA last year and it has grown so big, even my daughter asked me what was I doing and my answer was I water it once a week and at times longer and she’s thriving so beautifully, she loves the entrance room where she gets lots of natural light ☺️🤷‍♀️
Comment from : Lily R

Kamal Kalsi
My money tree is turning brown, there is no drainage in the pot , it’s ceramic pot , should I change the pot ??
Comment from : Kamal Kalsi

Annette Barker
I've had mine a little over a year and suddenly it is not doing well I've reported and reduced the water but now I'm afraid I'm not watering enough! The leaves dry out at the tip of the leaf and creep up the whole leaf
Comment from : Annette Barker

Spicy Moffo
Mine is about 5yo Plastic pot, peat moss only In a corner with low light Its huge! I've learned that when i water it, the water has to go all the way through pot If it doesn't, the leaves will start to turn brown at tips
Comment from : Spicy Moffo

My fish tank is a great humidifier for my plants in winter, and in Summer when the air conditioning is running, which also dries the air inside
Comment from : jmdq1

Anna Smith
Hi Angela A cat I'm taking care of, chewed all the leaves off my money tree It's now just sticks lol, can I restore it? I've given it some plant food (miracle grow) but it's not producing leaves yet and it's been about 2 weeks
Comment from : Anna Smith

Alex Smith
I have my money tree on my south facing window sill in the bathroom and it loves it - grows like crazy there 😍
Comment from : Alex Smith

Suburban Humanism
That's a terracotta pot and they evaporate water much quicker They're great for cactus and succulents but not for humidity loving plants I keep my money tree in a plastic pot for the drainage holes and use a basket for decorative touch to place it in after I water/drain it
Comment from : Suburban Humanism

Michal Hynson
Thank you!

Ice cubes work perfect if you add each day, the amount of cubes depends on the size
Comment from : Josh A

Honeyyy Yos
That’s weird my money tree does fine with low low light It has a lot of babies and the leaves is the same size as yours However, it right next to my humidifier and it loves it
Comment from : Honeyyy Yos

Tyler
I believe the "ice cube" situation depends on your tap water Refrigerators don't usually have a filter for ice So if you have alot of chemicals in your tap water, your ice cubes will to
Comment from : Tyler

Tyler
I would be interested in learning more about high oxygen producing plants!!! Please!!!
Comment from : Tyler

Laguapa
Regarding humidity: is misting the plant ok? I’ve been misting mine once a day for the past few days since I don’t have a humidifier
Comment from : Laguapa

Tamara Alexanian
My money tree was doing well until I decided to fertilize it (it was a short blue stick, I don't remember the name) My tree did not like it, the leaves began to turn yellow and fall off Is there anything I can do? I completely emptied the soil with fertilizer and put in a new one, but I don’t see any changes yet :-(
Comment from : Tamara Alexanian

Scott Galbreath
Best to water with luke warm water or filtered/bottled water brbrIce cubes honestly shock the plant Not good for it
Comment from : Scott Galbreath

brkbeat junkie
Your low light money tree was massively stretching for light as well That’s why the internodes are so long I keep mine in a window that receives morning sun and I keep the blinds half open It loves it there It loves it when I forget about it because they really don’t need much water I’ve had it for a year and have only fed it liquid nutrients twice, at half the dose as well
Comment from : brkbeat junkie

Jody Ann

No ice cubes ever baby bio I use not a lot got mine in sale for 5pound grown so well new baby's green x
Comment from : Pauline Mcallister

Alex Pineiro
I think the reason ice cubes don't work well often is that MOST people I've known use tap water to make them Tap water can contain numerous harmful substances and many municipalities report up to 88 or so various pharmaceuticals in tap water from people flushing meds If there is Floride in the water it WILL harm your plant I made that mistake and saw the beginning of decline I switched to filtered water ice cubes, once a week, 3 cubesthey are doing well again I think the thing that makes them perky and happiest of all that its a very visible difference is to give them at least 6-8 hours of very bright "Indirect" Sunlight I also find they look much better if you keep it from growing leaves or branches along the lower trunk This allows more nutrients to go to upper leaf use, and you get a better tree look By the way, these are not my advice and observations I'm new to plant children in the house, but I read a lot on what I buy for best chances as I hate killin things Why I follow the Lovely and informative host here She clearly is passionate about what she does Sooo, I'm saying if I can do it, you can do it Oh, I'm using a mix of specific Money Tree formulated soil and Happy Frog Soil which is very good soil I'm learning very quickly to just vibe them out, and see what they're saying to me because they have all manner of "body language" Thank You, Girl With A Shovelgreat video

think I’m experiencing root rot The leaves were pale green and some fell off I inspected the bottom stems and they were wet and a light brownish color The roots looked brown I trimmed them back and repotted in new soil Should I water right away or let it dry out first? Any suggestions??

MmmmmmmTacos
Money trees don't produce a ton of roots, so the watering requirements are sometime touchy They also store a ton of water in the trunk more like a succulent If they have lots of leaves, water more frequently, less often for the oppositebrbrI use a loose aroid mix to encourage more root growth They also get leaf burn super easy so wipe off the leaves if you splash water on them and they are close to a window
Comment from : MmmmmmmTacos
