I think crazy premiums are the New normal!my gut is telling me it's a new era of Intense Demand from the pandemic, and it's not a "small group" buying Bullion anymoreIt feels similar to the stock market manipulation buy-out with "GameStop" a couple years ago, and things we never the same afterit's just a new Era and layer in a changing worldSadly, I think people will have to adjust and keep up with the timesbut we will see!! Comment from : Mike Fu |

I thought precise metal were weighted in Troy oz? So they aren’t 28 gram oz Comment from : Mrvicmen82 |

If you're buying 1/10 oz coins at $200 plus, you're paying well over $2000 an oz when gold is $1825 How is that a bargain? Comment from : mikew2711 |

Yes fractional gold is a good choice Easiest to liquidate if need be and easiest on the pocket book to buy if you can stand the premiums I enjoyed the vid I had sold my full fractional stack a while back and still kicking myself to this day! Comment from : Shilver101 |
I love 1/10oz, and I have a few Mexican 2 pesos (about 1/20oz or 15g gold) for super fractional gold Comment from : Schultheiß |
Are you calculating premium for 1/10th oz of gold to 1/10 oz of silver? It seems you are calculating 1/10th gold to 1 oz silver You are not comparing apples to apples Comment from : Robert Jackson |
AustraliaI just bought my first ever gold1 x 2009 1/10th Maple and 1x1/10th Britannia, both about $330aud,ea Gold $2500 oz here so 1/10th oz works out to about $3,300 oz A bit much so I decided to save up $700aud and buy 1/4 oz gold coins Cheers Comment from : Bo Bundy007 |
Cool I've not seen the polar bear in gold I tend to stick to sovereigns for my fractional purchases unless I spot a particularly cheap deal for something It's cool having the tenths but I keep selling them to drop my cost average Comment from : Sovereign Saurus |
My LCS has been getting $220 for 1/10 oz gold all day long I just haven’t been able to do that, even though I know I can recoup much of that premium on the private party sales market, but not that much, particularly when I can go to social media and get them for $203-$205 I guess I’m just a premium grinch right now You set out some good reasons for 1/10 oz gold Hard to believe I don’t have any 1/10 oz Libertads I need to up my game Comment from : Vertical Stacker |
Buy 1oz gold coins for the lowest premium The premium you have to pay for factional gold coins is way too high Comment from : zzyzxRDFwy15 |
1/10 oz are my favorite fractionals but i also like to nab pre-33 US gold coins yeah, those are more in the realm of numismatics, but they're gorgeous and, honestly, i don't worry too much about premiums anytime i can exchange a bunch of crappy FRNs for gold i'm a happy guy, no matter what i get i enjoyed hearing your thoughts on it brbrwarm greetings from key west! Comment from : rongermanjr |
Good video, have heard warnings against buying grams, but tenth of an oz sounds very different I like the liquidity aspect of it too, and full oz sounds a little risky, at least for a 1st time purchase will definitely consider buying tenth of an oz pieces though thanx for the tips Comment from : james wiblishauser |

I’m a fan of the kooks I thought they would just be a one time deal a couple years ago, but it looks like they will be doing them yearly in tenth ounce gold and surprisingly platinum as well Comment from : Aftermarket Market |

I diversify 1oz gold generally with much more silver (a volume ratio of about 38:1) brI think I will start to add a bit of Pt as a speculation and get a total of 5 to 10 oz Comment from : Billy Bob Mirango |
I’m just curious when you sell the 1/10 ounce, do you get your premium back? Comment from : The Golden Loot |
I like your take on the 1/10 I guess the 1/15 ratio is a thing of the past Speculators are willing to pay for silver premiums for the chance of that ratio dropping Could you imagine a 15:1 ratio with no gold value loss! 😳 Comment from : Mississippi Son |
Ain't math great 😁👍🎉 Comment from : Ehren Krause |
I've been stacking these 1/10 oz gold coins for years now and they are great I haven't ordered from sd bullion yet but that's going to change very soon The Britannia is a beautiful coin just like the Canadian polar bear My silver hoard greatly outnumbers my gold but I'm working on changing that Comment from : John Schroeder |

I think you are very smart guy, Silver Bean Counter 1/10 ounce gold coins are the way to go because gold is expensive and most people cannot afford to buy the 1 ounce coins Just the facts Comment from : Gold Maple |
I've purchased random gold bullion from both dealers, they will sometimes send bullion which is in assay packaging Very good deal even if you don't know which mint you'll receive Comment from : Ryan Hanson |
Where do you get those all clear capsules for the 1/10 oz gold age, if you wouldn't mind, like what's the label for them please? Comment from : Zaycream21 |
You know I've just realized that they have real legit stores on eBay where you can pay using cashback cards that equal the same amount as using a check/wire on online stores or even cheaper Just as an extra shield of protection in case something happens to the bullion and it's a credit builder move for same or less money Idk I just saw some benefits while looking for my first long awaited gold buffalo Comment from : Zaycream21 |

I’ve been stacking silver and numismatic coins but I’m getting frustrated with the high premiums on American Silver Eagles So I was seriously thinking of doing some small Gold investing I was thinking of the 1 gram and the 1/10 oz I think that I’m sold on the 1/10 now Good video Thanks Comment from : Coin Collector and Stacker |

I'm not rich, so I couldn't afford to buy one ounce or even half ounce gold coins But for the past five years, I have bought tenth ounce Britannias, quarter ounce Britannias, or Sovereigns and half Sovereigns every month, depending on other expenses and outgoings for that month It soon builds up These coins are VAT free and not subject to Capital Gains Tax here in the UK If you know the right place to look, you can often get these at very low premiums and I usually either buy in person to save postage or go for free postage companies The coins I got five years ago have gone up fifty per cent, the coins I bought last year not so much But now that gold is going up again, I might make some money on them too Either way, it is good insurance against out of control inflation Comment from : aucourant |

Hold on to your fractional I believe that in years to come as new people enter the precious metals market this is what most will be buying and able to afford The average person won't be able to fork out thousands of dollars for an ounce in years from now Comment from : Azimuth Enigma |
Great deals on those coins Very nice Yes, very liquid indeed! Nice pickups sir! Good arguments for tenth oz gold Comment from : SalivateMetal |
I wonder If you had 10 of the 1/10th ounce gold Tell me anything about selling 10 of these in exchange for a whole ounce of Gold Is the price going to be fair or will I lose money in the exchange for the whole ounce Comment from : Brandon Goss |
The reason to buy 1/10th ounces You may not ever get enough money to buy an Ounce which cost about $200000 But $20000 is a reasonable price to exchange for 1/10th ounce of gold Comment from : Brandon Goss |
Valcambi Gold CombiBar would be great for fractional gold If the premiums for the total weight of the bar were competitively priced A 200 dollar premium on a 50 gram bar is expensive Its intended to be divided up so it certainly has no numismatic value Comment from : Joseph Purdy |
