There are a few guys with these at my local club and I must say, they do brake clays if you point it in the right direction If I were on a tighter budget, I would seriously consider one

I have the Steven's 555 20ga myself I have taken 5 turkeys couple ducks and alot of pheasants Great pointing clay shooter I like that it's not expensive so going thru brush and crawling to setup in cuts to hunt turkeys and be a mile plus Also the fact it's so light is awesome because you can run fields all day and not have tired arms but if it gets scratched you aren't in tears of a 3000 dollar gun

I have a 555 12ga I'm a once a week clay shooter Go through about 400rds a month Had the gun for 4yrs not a hiccup The only thing I did was cut the stock due to arthritis in both shoulders Good gun

Just bought a 555 sporting It has ported barrels, so recoil is about the same as my cousins Browning Citori (Not bad at all)

Bought one in 410 had my gunsmith reduce the trigger pull Much better

I currently own one of these in 12 guage and absolutely love it I have around 1500 rounds or so through it and haven't had a single issue It has loosened up a lot, which I like The recoil is not extreme, to the point where my 14 year old can manage it with ease and have little to no soreness after a day of sporting clays It isn't fancy by any means but it gets the job done I've put up respectable scores in clay shooting tournaments standing side by side with guys shooting 2000 to 10000 dollar shotguns so I feel good about keeping it with me at the range

I have the Stevens 555 deluxe in 12ga I've shot sporting clays on and off with it for a couple years, I probably have 2000 rounds through it with no real issues other than the trigger isn't amazing and recoil is high Being super lightweight lets me get on target fast which is definitely a pro For the money I am happy
