The 1909-S Cent has some very cool planchet striations on the Reverse, Love those Chopped coins, can barely tell what they are, wished I‘da picked up more chopped trade dollars when you could get them for a song & a dance back in the 80s, No one wanted them! Now they have a cult following, similar to toned coins, folks rarely collected & no premium until the mid 90s Comment from : william guirl |

Some really nice coinsSeeing the world coins makes me reflect back on fake US coinsAre world coins faked as much as US? I've been researching paintings and antiquities that are being faked, even fooling expert and auction house dealersI know I bust balls about grading, but I understand the importanceBut if experts in art and antiquities can be fooled, can coin/ currency graders? In the current economy, theres so much money being thrown around on collectibles as a whole that people are questioning how much is real,or not Comment from : JRW3 |

The first coin shown (Cent) had a very interesting tone, I liked it a lot, the second coin (1756 gold coin) may have some adjustment marks, I loved the medal with the building on the reverse, some very interesting coins, I really enjoyed the video! Comment from : SouthSideFrankie |

Pretty neat pickups 22:45 This is a medieval so called "Handheller", minted during a very long period (14/15 century) at Hall/ Southern Germany Most of these types are very common and available over here for around 10/20 bucks Greets from GER, U Comment from : Uwe Adamski |

Ben, that 1909-S Lincoln brings up a topic that I’d like you to comment on, maybe a viewer mailbag vid(?)brIt’s a well preserved penny, EXCEPT, it has FILTH encrusted in all of the crevices, around all of the lettering, etc I can’t think of any other vintage item where “filthy dirty” is the preferred condition As in, “Here’s a 1920’s hat for sale, and it STILL HAS ALL OF THE ORIGINAL HAIR GREASE AND VOMIT IN THE FABRIC!” or “Buy this 1970 GTO! It still has Junior’s diaper stains in the leather!! ALL ORIGINAL!”brSo, I am not advocating for cleaned and polished, but I am saying, “is this hobby for real? That’s how you want to preserve / conserve these coins for the next century!?” Comment from : JPatrickT12 |
