Saving and Las Vegas, they don't go hand in hand If you want to save money in Vegas you can't do anything associated with the Vegas lifestyle I lived there for 32 years The place is a moneypit From the houses that you invest in that fall apart from being built like shit, to the AC units that break yearly, to the machines that are programmed to literally steal your paychecks, the moneytrees, the casinos, women, rents, it's a mess It's an easy place to live if you don't gamble and don't visit the strip My sister does it right there, manages to live there and have a family I found the place repulsive and still do, however, it's home I plan on returning to the USA at some point but I hope I don't get stuck in Vegas again Don't be a tourist that wants to save money, bring extra and if you are one of those coupon people, Vegas ain't the spot If you are penny pinching, go to CA Go big or stay at home Comment from : Danny Rizzo

Hi Aly-I’ve kept dual residence between here, in Vegas, and New York City, for 32 years Your information and tips for travelers is excellent I have one more for you In Vegas there is CAT Paratransit CAT-(Citizen’s area transit)-Will provide 21 days of courtesy rides, all over town, if you qualify If you are coming in from another city, like New York, and have Access-A-Ride, or that type of service-just call your company, and ask if they can fax/send your current subscription info to Cat-(call Cat to let them know you’re doing that)-They will let you know if your eligible They will mail you a letter Just call to get an ID number, and a PIN number Saves a lot of money Days are good for 1 year Comment from : Gary Moisan
