I might have just bought a great condition buffalo for quite a bit more than a Britannia, but it's my first 1oz coin and I really wanted a lustrous belter, and a quality coin for my stack I thought since they aren't in fractional sizes, a 1oz buffalo alongside the lower premium sovereigns would be nice

I definitely prefer sovereign minted, with all the fakes out there you can never be too careful As a careful (trust, but VERIFY) stacker I want anything I consider putting in the little stack to be multi verified Helps if, instead of mere fraud, that the consequences include being able to declare war on you

How much does it weigh?” Very easy sale Now to get back and get it replaced in my stack

I like Buffalos for their purity and their rugged, nostalgic Americana appeal, but I think I like the design of the eagles a little better and I like that it comes in fractional sizes I think the silver mixed in with the copper in the 22K alloy make the color a bit nicer than the newer sovereigns and krugerrands, but Britannias are 9999, have some of the best security features and the lowest premiums at the moment If I lived in the UK, I couldn't see getting myself much US gold unless I found a good deal

I do like the gold buffalo, i don't like the premiums but I have bought the buffalo the Philharmonic and the Britannia as better priced enjoyed the video

Totally agree, I love the Gold Buffalo but I do enjoy the eagle, its been crazy to watch the Buffalo price get to about the same as the Gold eagle with that drop I've picked up more of the buffalo!
