Were you in the army?brbrFeedback: Knowledge is good but experience is the best way to learn, keep clear plastic bags as well, it can be used to collect water or store it, secure your electronics from getting wet and you can turn it into a filter if no bottle is available, weighs little and is always useful Also salt needs to be added, I use it often in my everyday life but consuming just a little bit of salt with your meal helps you keep hydrated, not too much salt, also useful to clean wounds or mix with water for a sore throat and gurgle it, don't ingest I believe you also missed having color full wool or rope, purely for the purpose if you get lost on a hike or something so your people can find your trail to save you from a emergency situation

A get home bag should have food sustainment gear such as fishing hooks and line and traps like the conibear style trap in my opinion I have Yo Yo Fishing reels and one small conibear trap in my get home bag but no food because it's in my trunk in the Florida heat and would go bad I love your channel Mr fieldcraft

Very well thought out choices of gear extremely well done!! I am especially glad to see you mention the Sillcock key I've carried one of those (a 4 way like what you showed) for water plus another 4-way utility key (for locked gas/electrical/control cabinets, etc) in my kits for many years and they've been invaluable Keep a set in each car I have as well I don't see those get mentioned nearly enough I really enjoy all your videos, and I've learned a lot of useful tips and new techniques from them

I recommend, a small wallet with $100 in cash, an ID, a health insurance card, and even a locked credit card You can do a lot with $100 cash in a pinch; food, gas, a taxi, etc A credit card can possibly be used for bigger ticket items, like a hotel room If you are injured and need to go to a hospital, having a health insurance card and ID helps with the red tapebrbrI also recommend pulling the batteries and get a farraday bag for the electronics It might provide some marginal protection from an EMP

You’re calling 24hr bag a bug out bag, what a joke! 👎🏻 You’re no ranger and you know it! Where are you bugging out to that will only take 24 hours to get to, in the circumstances that requires you to bug out? A get home 24 hr bag makes a lot more sense In a real SHTF situation that requires you to bug out, a reasonable distance in the chaos of the Shtf, while avoiding others you can walk is 10-15mi/day Is your bug out location 10-15 mi away? A real bug out bag for a SHTF (the only time you should bug out and only if you already have a bug out location pre supplied, otherwise you’re just a refugee) should sustain you for min 7 days, I use a 80 liter bag for my multi day camping trips that I use as a bug out bag Plus I keep an empty 35 liter urban bag inside it if I need to use it as a get home bag Don’t mislead people!
